You just started one. [;)] My february will be filled with doctors appointments. Insurance is having trouble finding a second endocrinologist in my area for that 2nd opinion, so I figure I will just make my own decision without one. So after I get the bloodwork done, I will go back to first. I will have him do a biopsy and make my decisions going forward based on that. So while I don't see february being a pleasant month filled with doctors and being poked and prodded, hopefully someone can provide some answers that will give me relief.

My Alaska submissive that Mistress65 and I are sharing is coming to my State on the 22nd! WooHoo!!!! I'm SO happy!! I can hardly wait! I get to see him finally in real life again. WooHoo!!!!! Can you tell I'm happy?? [:D] I have another visit w/ my weight loss Dr on the 6th. He will be happy as I've lost 63 lbs since mid-September. Yay me! On a not-so-happy note, one of my really good gal friends just found out she has uterine cancer so I'm taking her to an oncologist in Seattle where they will have staged it already & will tell her what that is. She will have a hysterectomy on the 27th. Otherwise, my life is pretty uneventful these days. NBMG

Nothing really planned for us. Next month is my birthday month (March 5th ) We got some things planned for that.

NBMG, my sincere best wishes for your friend's highest outcome. <3 You are wonderful for standing by her. And congratulations on your weight loss triumph! I spent last month practicing the difficult art of detachment. Much better now, and the joy is returning. Finding my way again musically now that former band has dissolved. S and I are teaming up for a variety show 2/18 where we will feature most of the musical styles/instruments we play. We talked about trying again for a regular contra band, but the same issues that limit our personal relationship continue to spill over into that as well so not practical. Pity; he's so talented. Shoulders still a misery but learning to work with my 'new normal'. May brave something in the pool next week for the first time in 6 months, but it will not be the routine I enjoyed for 35 years. Things just wear out; time to reinvent again. Huck continues to stand by with love and dungeness crab. The heartfelt things he says and does make me get all soft and girly. What an amazing man. Hope everyone enjoys a ray of sunshine soon; literally, metaphorically, preferably both!

Doctors' appts., discussions with photographers and some shoots, this weekend going to Rochester for RKS/Delta Family time since I haven't been up there yet, finding out whether or not my building management is gonna try to fuck me on my lease renewal so I'm putting more in my savings this month than normal in case I need to tell them "Oh, you want to do that? Then I'm moving out, bye!". And if the lease thing goes just fine then I'm throwing a huge portion of my savings into paying off almost all of my debt (I have a personal loan that will be left). Oh, and by god I'm going to buy toner cartridges for my printer one of these days I go by Target on my way to the doctors because the damn thing is made so that it won't print black if the colored cartridges are empty so you're forced to buy them. Oh, and participating in a very neat artistic project downtown.

February already. Time is going by quickly. I'm going to throw this first part in here just for fun. For all of you folks who have been having those cold blasts in the lower 48, we here in Alaska just had the warmest January since close to the turn of the century. That still means cold, but not the normal freeze your tail off kind. I haven't been on the boards as much and I don't see that changing for a while. I've been keeping Myself pretty busy between MP and tk. Love may be an infinite quality but time is not. I wouldn't be on this morning if I weren't basically waiting for MP to get out of the house so I can finish cleaning it. (Just one of those things where it's easier to clean without anyone else around.) Just the general getting things in order before we wreck the joint playing all weekend February is looking pretty good. As the situation goes, MP has a long weekend coming up that happens to coincide with Valentine's Day and tk will be having some time off of work by the end of the month. That should help the juggling time situation. Gaining daylight each day won't hurt, either. Makes it way better on Sundays when somebody is making the drive back. I have to admit, I've been very happy in the new dynamic. There are some external things that I could do without but I'm certainly not willing to trade what I've got in exchange for them. Life here is pretty good.

I totally agree with you LP. Hubby knows I don't want him anywhere around when I'm cleaning. Actually I don't want anyone around, unless I'm telling them what I want done.

Today is Lizard's birthday (19) and she is planning to spend time with one girlfriend since Austin ISD is closed due to the weather. I am wearing my back brace so I am not hurting right now except in my right hip. Mom made potato soup so we don't really have to cook anything for a few days. I am to go thyroid med free for a few days so I can get a fresh TSH T4 test done so the new doctor would figure out my hypothyroidism. My MMORPG is acting up so I am tempted to get nasty with my bug report.

Hi everyone... February is my busiest month this year(and most years) I had to cancel my ten day trip to the US cos I have pneumonia, luckily the walking kind, the kind that you get when you have bronchitis and the meds dont work.... gah Ive had the infection in my chest for nearly five weeks, im as weak as a kitten, grumpy and fed up. oh and this stress caused when coughing really is a pain in the neck My concentration has been shot, work has suffered and its cold...oh and I have six birthdays this month, youngest son, hubby , stepdaughter, pet and mine. When I can breathe again I will travel down to the US, but I hate the extra wait. Im loving looking at the snow n cold, altho Im not going out except to the docs n hospital has been driving me further into my hermit mode. Luckily the kids are fine all working all happy, and my husband is great hes been pandering to most of my whims. Im a lucky woman. So all in all apart from feeling sorry for myself, im looking forward to march:) I hope those of you suffering , get thru everything ok. I hope everyone has a good month.

Mom is on the first name basis with the imaging people at the hospital. 2 head CTs and a back MRI. While we were waiting for imaging to call her in the lobby, I went over and got the records release forms from our current doctor so he can request our old records from our former doctor. Poor man had a stroke and is in rehab...lost some speech, eyesight and memory. His ex-wife and kids are closing his practice down. I am teaching baby M, my youngest niece, how to play slots. Call it sibling payback...LOL!

I've been working 60-70 hours a week. That's the extent of my life. But I am enjoying my new, big round overstuffed chair. It's about 5 foot (give or take a few) in diameter. He and the dogs are chilling on the new sectional. Normally it should seat about 6 people with room to spare. Tonight it's got one adult male and 3 dogs stretched out on it. Perks of Generic dude and I working so much lately........new living room furniture. Another perk of working so much........I've lost even more weight. Otherwise, I am bloody sick to death of winter. It's been a miserably cold one here.

My Alaska submissive, NorthernTsar, made it to Washington this past weekend!! WooHoo!! YAY for us!! I know, here I am a woman of 56 and I sound all gushy and silly like a teenager. lol [sm=hearts.gif] I asked him how long he was going to be in WA this time and he actually said "Just for the weekend. I came to see YOU!" OMG, I just about melted! It was really nice to see him again & he said he's hoping to get back down here again within the next three months. He's very allergic to cats but we spent four hours or so together before he had to go. That was yesterday and I'm still riding the wave. NBMG
