How long would you recommend wearing a corset for at a time, if you are new and inexperienced with them? I have a new steel-bones, recommended to me by my friend. It's well made but I'm a little afraid i'll go overboard with it. What's a safe length of time at first and how do you know when you can start wearing it for longer?

I have a couple of steel boned corsets, and can wear them for several hours at a time, as long as they aren't laced too tightly. The worst thing about a corset is that I have trouble reaching my butt to wipe. [:D] I really miss being able to bend freely.

When it comes to the length of time anyone should wear a corset is going to depend on quite a few factors. I always advise that a client drinks a large glass of water before putting. On a corset because once on a good corset will help to bring your internal organs back up into their correct position and some people don't drink enough water to ensure they stay hydrated. Start wearing one for a couple of hours a day and then add a hour each day until you feel comfortable to wear it all day. For every hour you wear a corset one again remember to drink a glass of water. I personally advise women not to wear a corset when they are on their monthly period. Also don't lace yourself up too tight in the first place also helps. if your wanting more information on weight loss corsets please feel free to contact me.
