Lately I've been watching Land Girls, Battlestar Galactica and lots of random documentaries. Any suggestions on things I could watch?

I've really enjoyed things like Call the Midwife, Orange is the New Black, Hemlock Grove, The Tudors, The Borgias...stuff like that.

And OMG I just noticed they added season 3 of The Borgias! XD

The Bridge;

I'm totally hooked, trying to finish the second series before it becomes unavailable on bbc iplayer. I can't recommend it highly enough, I haven't been this hooked on a tv show since Breaking Bad. The theme song is amazing as well!

Netflix doesn't have Game of Thrones, True blood or Babylon 5. :( I've watched bits of all of those but haven't watched all yet.

Love Doctor Who. Can't wait for new episodes with the new doctor!

I've watched bits of Sherlock but I think only half of season 1...should watch more of it.

Thanks! I've been thinking about watching Bomb Girls b/c they keep suggesting it...the description doesn't sound that great but I'm guessing it's similar to Land Girls which I'm really enjoying.

I love Lost Girl. I haven't watched any of this last season yet though. Reminds me a lot of the books I read. :)

Wolfblood isn't on streaming and I don't have the dvd access right now. :(

Netflix *does* have Game of Thrones and Trueblood (Don't know about Babylong5). Session 2 of Game of Thrones comes out Feb 18th, I know, it's on my DVD list.

Don't give out information unless you know it to be correct, kk? Thx.

I meant on streaming. I don't get the dvds, just streaming.

Oh, what the HELL is wrong with Me?
AMERICAN HORROR STORY. A haunted house with a gimp suit wandering around, multiple murders, French maid ghost, etc. etc.

I just finished Dexter. Am watching Firefly again, as well as catching up with Supernatural.

I also watch some cartoons and seasons of foreign made tv shows. Reading the subtitles is aggravating, but one of them was worth it. (It was Korean, a Korean American girl went to Korea, disguising herself as a boy so that she could be in the same school as a famous pole vaulter...very sweet, innocent show. Too bad I can't remember the name of it.)

There are several Japanese made cartoon series I enjoy watching on Netflix. One is called Sekerai (spelling?). The boob flaunting and the modest, easily embarrassed virgin type guys make me laugh in a good way.

I don't watch too many television series, but I'm a slut for documentaries.
The last one I watched, which I found very interesting, was Lost Angels.

*hugs to poise, I'm still rocking my favorite avatar *

I also like documentaries. I like the National Geographic ones, and my personal favorites when I had Netflix were the ones dealing with Arlington Nat'l Cemetery and Air Force One.

One good movie I found in the rotation on Netflix recently was Dredd, based on the comic book, and far better than the Stallone flick. Cool effects, and a genuinely brutal baddie. Fun ride.

I really enjoyed Dredd myself. It's a shame it tanked and the planned sequels now won't get made.
