I know it may just be me...but every time I hear the term unicorn, I think of the ad on television here for one of the casinos: Is that a unicorn? No...heh, heh, heh...that's a QUADRIcorn.

It's when you take a pony girl, and stick a suction-cup dildo on her forehead.

That is the best answer to that old question I have seen yet.

Never play leapfrog with a Unicorn. Play hopscotch. Unicorns suck at hopscotch.

I don't see why not, lesbian couples need thirds too. Besides, my girl-friend was a lesbian when we met. She was a unicorn at the time, now she's a hunter. ;)

Unless you are extremely wealthy, extremely good looking AND have all the charm of Clark Gable you might as well be hunting unicorns for all the luck you'll have.

I don't know about that. We're not wealthy, we're no better then average looking, and I think Clark has me for charm, but we've dated lots of younger woman over the years. Some have been brief relationships, some have been for a few years. We just ended one relationship 2ish months ago, and just had a date with another girl on Saturday. A while back, a bit over 10 years, we ended a year long relationship and started a new one less then a month later. That new relationship is on-going.

So yes, you need to be lucky. Yes, you need to be persistent. Yes, you need to be a charming bastard. (Good looking and rich probably don't hurt.) But it is possible if you put in the work.

Yep. Just show up at events, as a couple. If a suitable woman likes your interaction and she likes the two of you as a couple, ask her over. We've had things going with a couple of women that way, and have had interest from another half dozen who wouldn't be a good fit.
I think if you're genuinely open to connecting with that particular woman, it's not that hard. But if you're a (often newly opened) couple looking for a woman to come over and help you experiment with that hot threesome fantasy, it's going to be a bit more difficult.

YOU are a unicorn... and if your profile is sincere, a very desirable one :)

Based upon the expression on his face . . . I'm guessing he lost a bet.

The term "unicorn" is used because thirds are so rare as to be mythical. In your case, a woman seeking a lesbian couple would likely be even rarer than a bi woman seeking an MF couple.

Stupid question - in the case of a bi woman looking for a couple, it's clear why she would want two partners. Why would you seek out a lesbian couple? What could two women provide you, that would justify the extra effort and energy of having two partners instead of one?

Why would YOU want to be with more than one woman, Steven?
I'm sure for a lesbian, the reasons would be similar.
