Well, my mistress has been very busy lately with work. I have also been busy with work, and school, and we are in the middle of a huge home renovation. Between all of that she doesn't have the time or sometimes even the urge to pay me any attention...
I don't want to top from the bottom, just want to find ways to keep showing her my love and devotion. I try to surprise her with flowers every now and again. We don't share the same days off so when I am off I try to do all the housework, clean and fold laundry, do dishes, etc. I would like to try something new. so with that....
what has been the thing your subs have done for you that pleased you the most?
Any good surprises that you have really enjoyed?

I have been looking over this thread...

asking what mistresses want subs to do for them

I get it that I need to ask her what she wants in the relationship and keep communication open. I'm thinking more along the lines of a valentine's day surprise or gift or something.

I want to do something she will really enjoy...

Challenging, but I think you've made a good start:
This is what I enjoyed the most:

1. Surprise orgasms; when home and busy [but not TOO busy], I do like when good men distract me that way. Also great to go to sleep and wake up in orgasm.
2. One good man was great at sensing my mood, and when he'd feel I was miffed at work or life in general would just strip, bring a flogger and get on all fours, knowing we'd both enjoy a workout and the post-workout.
3. Date nights: necessary with shift workers.
4. Even a cheap motel will get you away from construction mess, noise and confusion for one night.
5. 'Just because' messages/e-mails/lunch notes/flowers
6. Surprises are nice, but you need to TELL her you miss her, ASK her what you can do, and SUGGEST solutions.

lacyslave, please don't use that thread as an example, though there might be some good information in there... the thread is nothing like what you are trying to do.

You know your dominant and asking is good, but surprises of certain kinds can be half the fun for both of you. Think making her comfortable. She is overworked... she may need stimulation or activity, but she also may just need down time.

Think about what she likes. Does she like baths? Does she like candles? Massages? How about a prettily made up bathroom with you as her attendant, with a nice bath, drink, book, you, etc and a massage? Anything sexual, I would put off if it would seem you are looking for a certain outcome other than her comfort.

Maybe if you are both busy and you can't be around on her days off... how about some food that makes for good leftovers that she can microwave, a basket of fruit and bottle of her favorite drink or a new book she might enjoy.

Just think her comfort, her likes and what she does when she might pamper herself or has you do.

A wonderful Valentine's Day gift is always well received.

How about a spa package or gift certificate at her favorite salon?

My sub does that for me on occasion and I always love being able to pamper myself in this way.

I just sent her a couple "just because" texts...
I am glad you reminded me to avoid the sexual due to it looking for a certain outcome other than her comfort - I am all too guilty of topping from the bottom.

I am sure she would love it if I ran her a bath, provided her a glass of wine, and then sat next to the tub to wash her hair for her....
This has some definite possibilities :)

Since your schedules are so busy and shifts different, I think a wonderful surprise (if you could swing it) would be to take a day off that coincides with hers and spend it pampering her. The bath, hair washing, cook her favorite meal, etc. Basically spend that day juct catering to her every whim and need since your schedules keep you from being able to enjoy that kind of time together.

Best thing Huck does for me is keep in good touch. In person as often as he can. When we're physically apart, it might be via phone, text, or email but he lets me know he's thinking of me.

How about treats in the fridge made up ready for her when she gets home ... healthy treats and meals or at least the prep for them is something I appreciate when I am working long hours

Its winter where you are I think, so slow cooker meals are great ... you can do all the work .. ands he can enjoy the benefits when she gets home.

the table set with flowers , cutlery etc and a little personal note ...

have slippers .. dressing gown .. or what ever she finds most comfy laid out on the bed to make it easier for her to shift from work space to relaxation.. with one chocolate (if she like them)

Or maybe her exercise gear

I'm a bit late to this one. I hope no one minds.

If I had to pick out just one thing he's done, I'd have to say that it was that he asked Me on a date. Not an event. Not kink or BDSM. He wanted to take Me out to someplace that I normally wouldn't go (Thai food) and spend the evening together. Looked over the menu ahead of time to make sure My onion allergy wouldn't be a problem. Cleaned the hell out of his place so that I could have a comfortable overnight stay. Drove after dark because I don't see well at night. Made sure there was a working light in the living room in case I had a random bout of insomnia and wouldn't be able to sleep that night. Had My favorite drink stocked.

Most people would say that's a pretty simple thing. It was, I suppose, but it mattered to Me because, he did it, when none of the other submissive males did. Plenty of people have traveled for Me or done various things, but he's the only one who did that. In My eyes, that's what made it special.
