I found an obscure cable channel...VERRRRRRY old movies....lot of slutty shit going on back then.

Somewhere in the late 30's, 40's or some such, changed it all. Some movie rule....then came the whole two beds gig with one foot touching the floor etc.

(I still do that if a chic comes over....but, I'm very conservative).

Did you know that, with exception....their abilities to show what film makers can today....movies in the earlier times were FAR sluttier than we show today?

I don't know about "slutty" but I saw just the other day a thirties movie with some surprising leg shots and a slow pan starting from a shapely young woman's neck to her toes with her in a fairly short clingy dress. So, I suppose the film industry has always known sex sells films.

Most of the "good stuff" would be pre-Code.

Some of my favorites include:

Safe In Hell
The Letter (1929 version with Jeanne Eagels)
Baby Face (Barbara Stanwyck sleeps her way to the top)
Madam Satan
Morocco
The Unholy Three
West of Zanzibar
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (Fredric March & Miriam Hopkins)
Skyscraper Souls
Employee's Entrance
Three On A Match
Scarface (Paul Muni)
The Bitter Tea of General Yen

A pretty comprehensive list is here.

Some of these are available on compilations called "Forbidden Hollywood". Others are very difficult to find, some - like Letty Lynton - have never been released in any home media form, and other are sadly lost.

Have fun!
