There is something to be said for a leisurely journey across a continent or ocean, so considering the new composite materials, I suggest bring back the dirigible as a vehicle for air travel.

Now docking in high winds could be problematic, but nothing too serious, as indicated in the following pictures.

I am sure that the passengers would enjoy the added bonus of a roller coaster like thrill at the end of the trip.

As long as there wouldn't be any deadly gas explosions or, say, chance of hitting an iceberg and sinking, I'm sure it would be lovely, jlf. :)
