A friend on another social networking site who knows I play the lotto, asked a simple question.
If I won both jackpots, what kind of house would I build?
The answer is easy.
1) Gothic Victorian or Tudor style house that would look perfect in "the Munsters," "the Adams Family," or any classic horror movie.
2) Four Floors and an attic and basement (6 levels) with the main floor built back into a hill.
3) Each floor and basement having a total of 3200 square feet.
4) Reinforced concrete construction with Victorian style brick and stone on the outside surfaces.
5) Gourmet kitchen, walk in fridge and freezer units, large pantry.
6) Bedrooms of at least 700 square feet.
7) Each bedroom with an en suite.
Those are the basics.
Now for the "personal" touches.
1) Added to the back of the main floor, the section backed up in a hill, a large wrought iron reinforced heavy wood door, that when opened a large animatronic dragon roars and snorts flame.
2) A slide from the attic to the main floor, hidden of course.
3) Secret passages and rooms.
4) sensors along the stairs and hall ways that activate the sound of footsteps behind you as you walk. (used only for guests)
5) Main section of the basement decorated like your typical evil scientist.
6) Attic decorated in such a way as to suggest it was used as a prison....
Landscaping
Have "spooky" mature trees brought in and planted.
A Mausoleum style structure as the pool house.
A grotto for the pool that looks remarkably like a crypt.
Fog generators along the walk ways to set the mood for night time walks.
Remember, money would be no object.
