For the sake of justice I am hoping there is more to this story than reported.

Listening to the radio, yer man at the White House just referred to "Alex de Toqueville" instead of "Alexis de Toqueville." lol

How is this on topic?

I was wondering that also and googled the name in case I had missed something. I couldn't find a link between the two so the only explanation I can come up with is he is so obsessed with the man that he can't think of anything else.

That's my theory too: the heartbreak of ODS.

Not long ago, I reported a similar post and got an acidic reminder about the Hide button, so I've stopped bothering. More and more, actually, I bother less and less with P&R.

Actually, it's Alexis De Tocqueville. A French writer who wrote Democracy in America. One of his beliefs was that equality is essential to democracy, and it's the lack of equality that leads to crime.

Started to edit then said the hell with it.
