ORIGINAL: Marc2b Great news . . . and a reminder to think twice before we complain about how rough life is while we sit, well fed, inside our warm homes. That's so true....I said to Ash today as well...."you know...I had my personal struggles with pushing that boundary for me to take you over the border (in case we would get caught...worked a lot in legal-departments and so I am not the most relaxed person about doing something which is not that legal....sort of....but my partner showed me some awesome links that nobody expects from a private person over here to report an illegal immigrant, which then helped me to calm me down a fair bit)... anyhow....so I said (yeah again) "you know...I had my personal struggles with pushing that boundary for me to take you over the border....but I also think at times it is better to do what you feel is right to do then just to focus on what the law says".....I just think my country could do way more for those affected from that war and well...if they don't get as much more active as I wished they would....then well...at least there I can do a little bit good for these two lads.... It was really a pleasure to experience their joy in the netherlands after always reading a bit about his journey over all those weeks....and then they really did make it....and I also want to mention, that I was actually only be able to help him due to the help from my partner (as without him my car would be broken down right now and I also would not have had the cash to meet Ash today in the first place) and also as Ash was able to pay the petrol costs for those 1400km...as finances simply are awfully tight right now on my side... (that distance made me knacked big time now as I am not the best in driving such a distance within 24 hours....) The last 300km were pure agony for me as my fibromyalgie pain played up almost everywhere in my body, but nevertheless, I am happy I could help them quote:
ORIGINAL: theshytype That's fantastic news, I'm happy for him! And it's wonderful of you to update us all! You are welcome....we agreed that I will inform you as right now he doesn't know when he will have internet again....that can take one day but it also can take several days....but he wanted you to know that he reached his desired place safely
