Generally in a poly situation or stable of submissives, this sub serves the Dominant, but has authority over the other subs in the household and may even dom them if the Master/Mistress wishes it.

Hi! Many houses who have multiple sub/slaves assign a heirachy. This is one kind. An alpha sub is the "head" sub in a family of subs. The terminology is taken straight from wolf and dog packs. The alpha wolf is the one in charge, the betta is next, etc. etc. Fire Also a southern Woman.

Note that not all poly/bdsm relationships utilize this "pecking order" thing. Mine certainly dosen't, and most of the poly kinksters in the circles I travel within don't either. Besides, could you imagine the ration of crap an "omega sub" would get? Sheeeeesh! A_G

actually Geek My omegas are pampered pets. and the pecking order as you call it works quite well. Its was the C O C K that made such a pecking order work. My slave dread is My alpha and you better beleive he runs My home just like I would in My absence and has served Me an Mine quite well.

i am engaeded to be marrid to my Dom, if we would ever have another sub in our relationship, they would be his sub but i would also be his wife, and would terfore be considerd the alpha sub.
