It would be nice to have Dom/sub designatons on the message board side....beause you can't always tell right away just from someone's screen name...sometimes you have to go back and look for their profile. It would also be nice to add the Top/bottom designation as well....although a lot of people will say in their profile that they are only looking for play....which in my book (JMO) means "Top/bottom" not "Dom/sub" or "Master/slave".

Thank you for that smileforme50, the sig line would make that possible and would be a great addition overhear. However, I think I should just put Dickhead in my sig line, there's a D in it ;)

The color thing seems like a good idea... if they could just get all the people to actually label themselves correctly to begin with. Anyone who has ever read some of the journals knows what I am talking about. "I am Miss Dom Domly McDomliness and you will worship everything about me"... then you see the light pink and say WTF?!?!

You must have missed my disclaimers about suggestions that require coding work :)

We did implement some suggestions immediately, such as doing away with the "no reviving necro threads" rule and clarifying language in some forum guidelines.

We've also had a team hard at work behind the scenes and their work should be implemented soon.

Chi, babe, hard at work is really subjective... When you have community of Sadists with whips and other motivational tools, hard at work takes on new meaning.

Perhaps it's time to add a new administrative level to CM. We can call it the Motivational Mentor, just give RS, LP, myself, and a few others the address's of those that are "hard at work" and we will patiently, lovingly, and with all the Molly-coddle we can muster, guide them into a more efficient " hard at work" state of being.

I knew it!!!!!

The mods are working for the CIA, NSA, KGB and Obama's secret cat police!

"Teams hard at work behind the scenes" is spook talk for we gonna leave your ass swinging in the wind as bait.

Just like the Military Intelligence term "Minimal Resistance" means you gonna be out number 30 to one.

I was in the army, and I dealt with spooks and Military Intel.

Collarme members you better start checking your homes for microscopic cameras, your phone is probably tapped, and there are most likely hidden microphones in the refrigerator and rolls of toilet paper.

Hell they probably looking at you through your monitor!

Jus let me get the bunny flogger in here.......

HUH? Unless you speak of the "color" above the atavar, I have no clue as to what you mean by "on the profile side should carry over into the user box on the forum side".

I'm really, really hoping that one of those is the tiny-est bit of coding that is suggested back then.....

That was to ALSO show the "name of the forum" as messages pass by on the marquee.  I'll see an interesting one, and "catch" the thread in my head, and then think, "Damn, 'tis past the small window! How will I find that?"

Seriously, that takes almost NO coding. You have all the info "in hand." Just have to format it and show it at the same time that you show the thread title and the post itself .....

Hey, Chi! How's 'bout a teaser/update? Some parts are probably ready to be released.  What are they?

Please, VideoAdminChi. Please.......
Double Damn.... I'm a Dom and you all have no idea what that last line cost me. LOL

Regards, Lance
P.S. Actually, it cost me nothing.  See.... "you all DIDN'T have ANY idea what that last line cost me." Just messing with y'all. LOL!

I did, I did, I really did. Most people giggle when I threaten them with the bunny flogger. Once they realize that it is a double entendre and I'm summoning "Bunnicula" they are gripped with a sudden fear, and a deep need for self preservation.

Notice how quickly chi got off the boards and went back to work?

Yeah, I suppose I did, in the sense that I didn't take it literally that asking about renaming Ask a Master/Mistress (or any of the other boards) meant just that, renaming. I understand now, CM might not have the resources available to dive into DB coding changes. If and when any avail themselves to CM, it would be great to have user classification changes implemented, with or without color-coding alterations. Thanks for taking the time to address this matter.

ETA: Reviving the necro-threads was a splendid idea, and I was glad to see that take place right away.

This problem is endemic, Lance, because those who call themselves slaves ... normally aren't. Can't help you there. I'm still sifting through all the vanilla poser wannabes who call themselves subs.

Actually your idea to color-code user names is way better than mine to insert their pre-designated type into the left-hand user box (under their user names or elsewhere therein). Does anyone know how difficult that would be, for my user name to appear in Red coloring, Lance's in Navy, et al, I wonder?

I'm guessing this is still HTML coding. Clickable links don't have to change color, once they've been clicked.

I'm in the minority, I don't like it. I think it clogs new threads off of the first page..and in most cases you're replying to a ghost.

I happen to agree with you, Oside. Why start a new thread and encourage current dialogue when a person can just pull up someone's old one (where the OP might not even be a member anymore) where the conversation with that OP will never continue?
