even though there has already been MOD interaction, I have decided that it is in my best interest to pretend I am already under a warning, and will resist the urge to post anything that will get me a gold letter.

(oh, dear GOD how difficult this is!! I WILL BEHAVE, I WILL BEHAVE!! I WILL!!!)

Must I explain steam punk to you people? I'm 51 FFS & I know what it is! [>:] [;)]

most of 'em wouldn't know steam punk if it played sexpistols for them

Some of us might recognize the tune though, being old enough to have lived thru the Sex Pistols era. [:D]

You know, even generation x is get'n old nuff to get senior discounts these days, wont be long before you hear bands like the sex pistols and the black flag echoing through the halls of retirement homes lol

not really, but that reminds me of when I seen cheech and chong live a few years back, after cheech(talk bout aging)did his "alice bowie" sketch,he walked off stage with a walker(fer laughs of course)...kinda wonder how long iggy pop has got before they just rig him up to a wire harness rig and flail him round the stage like a marionette having a seizure

I used to work in international journalism for quite a while and as a student it kinda helped to pay the bills (and to not spend money on concert tickets), I recall Mr Rollins sticking his face into mine and growl "I don't smoke - EVER" and his neck was almost wider than his head, all because at the time I was smoking and a packet of cigarettes fell out of my pocket, then got his anti-smoking rant, it ended up with us doing the interview (he's somewhat intense) and then ended up agreeing to work out the next day together (couldn't move for 2 weeks but couldn't give up, had to show him that even as a smoker I respect my body) and had sort of a casual acquaintance for years, a few more interviews, the odd email. Ran into him again last year in LA as he's friends with some other friends and he was half the size he used to be. He went from Hulk to normal sized, lean and fit elderly guy. He isn't even that old, late 40's or 50's I think? Even his neck is normal sized now
