Not an Intro but a Suggestion - 2/19/2014 2:18:35 AM

I was looking through the search and noticed that there are so many profiles of members that have been inactive for long periods (months & years). So my suggestion is this. I think there should be two sections for member searches, first section is for active members and the second should be for inactive members, who have not been on for at least a month. Just so people who are actively looking are not wasting there time sifting through profiles of inactive members. Also I think you should maybe do what other sites do and purge the profiles of members who have been inactive for 6 months+. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the message board, ScottishCDZ.
There are certainly many site changes that could improve one's search.
However, until such changes are made, there is currently a feature you can utilize in your
search criteria that addresses this issue, simply by sorting your search by checking the Last On option.

Hello and welcome. Your post will probably be moved to P&ORS Forum, where there are several similar "how to improve CollarMe" threads. While it is a nice idea, there's tons of reasons why it probably won't happen. But hey! come on down and have some fun here.

As a curiosity question, what site deletes accounts when members haven't been active for a certain period of time?

Heck, if I owned a site, I'd never do that. Membership numbers (whether they are active or not) allow the site to charge higher advertising rates.

Maybe they were active but did not log in?

I suspect that is not going to happen. CM is financed for at least some part by advertisements and a smaller membership means a reduction in advertisement income.

Next they're going to start asking us to write the intro emails for them and set up the first meeting

Collarme users do not go inactive. The ones with problems having their profiles not being found are actually earmarked for abduction by the admins. They are being used in a eugenics experiment to create a master race of human alien hybrids.

My profile sat basically non active for 6 1/2 years after I meet my dom here. When he passed away I came back full time. If I got mail in the years I was not so active I would quick hop on and say hi and give my e-mail and keep in touch that way. It was really nice when I came back and found old friends once again and they knew who I was here because they knew me through my nick. I am so glad that they did not deactivate me.

In answer to this:

1) The forums Mods have nothing to do with the profile side. So, posting here will not gain any traction with Site Support. If you wish to make suggestions, you may send them to Site Support.

2) There is already the option to choose "display by last on date", so there really is no reason to change what is happening.

3) Many people in the forums log in directly to CollarChat rather than CollarMe, but it is required that all posters have an account on the CollarMe side. So, we could potentially be wiping out active forum members by following that suggestion.

Rho, I find your use of logic and Intelligence in dealing with the suggestion to be non-human in origin, thus proving my hypothesis that Admins are of an extraterrestrial species.
