I don't like to pop the whip.. but I can be Dom in some areas I have found. I am a bit of a sadist... that I know for sure. I think everyone probably has a bit in their lives where they feel a bit Dom like..we may just not get to show it. I am getting to learn more about mine at this moment.. it's a bit scary..but I am quite enjoying it. Life takes some interesting turns..that's for sure. Andrea

I'm really trying to figure out what your line of thinking is in regards to this comment. I mean... popping a whip is popping a whip. There are plenty of flat out vanilla folk who enjoy popping a whip. There are also many children who enjoy popping something they have made. Ever have a sibling or a friend roll up a towel & snap you with it? It is only if the sub/slave enjoys popping that whip against someone flesh & gets a warm fuzzy feeling that this subject takes on any real direction... this sub/slave is absolutely not in danger of ruining their sub/slave status, the only thing that happens is they learn they have a sadistic streak. If they decide to continue this activity they still are not in danger of losing their identity... that would only happen if they would want their intended victim to surrender to them.

I only "pop the whip" when I'm feeling masochistic because usually I end up hurting myself. I think I have 4 of them in varying lengths. They are "fun" to play with and pop. Someday I hope to get enough confidence and skill to consider using them on beth. Floggers, canes, crops, and anything shorter than 4 feet brings out the sadist in me. The only thing I can control over 4 feet is beth.

You may just discover along the way that as you become more comfortable & more confident with throwing the whip that you may actually decide to not use it on her & only use it theatrically... that crack that makes knees go weak. The whip is not a toy, it can really cause a great deal of damage. Persons who are experienced with whips know all to well that the fine line between a good throw & a bad throw is slim. Feathering as I call it... not sure if that is a term others use... is all I would ever do as far as making physical contact with the skin. The last thing I want to do is break my most important toy... this person who trusts me to cause them no harm.

"Poping the whip" was meant to be general phrase meaning that everyone has atleast a little bit of sadistic tendencies. Perhaps not dominant, but definetly sadistic. After all, how many subs find enjoyment from tickeling there dom when they are trying to sleep?

I can relate to this. For example...if I'm with a female and there reaction is a very loud one... I relish in it. It makes me want to cream my shorts. I consider my self 100% slave.....not a switch by any means...but yes I like the reaction pain gets me sometimes. Mind you, I don't ever enjoy causing someone pain if they don't enjoy it. I like the reaction I get out of the person that I cause pain to, if it's a reaction of pleasure. Reaction..period...is a HUGE turn on for me.

I have only one experience topping someone. About 6 months ago, I got permission from my Dom to fufill the fantasy of a friend of mine. I am a sub, and have no interest in topping at all, but he didnt know anyone else in the scene, and wanted to be topped. I must admit, although very uncomfortable, it was fun to have him at my feet for a change. And I do love making his ass red with that flogger LOL I am not sure if I will ever do that again, but it was interesting!

quick reply.. I honestly think that I enjoy belts more then whips, as long as the belt is wielded correctly. My husband is a bi switch (he is NOT my Master) and occasionally likes me to top him because he has trust issues with other do/mmes...I don't really like having to be the one on top. Being a Dominant for the first 6 years I spent in the lifestyle was where I believed I belonged. I never had the inclination or desire to repeat the service related tasks of My training. Now I will admit to being the tiniest bit masochistic, but not enough to motivate Me to submit. Then I met Cross, from the first time I looked into His eyes I knew I'd be on the other side of the crop in no time flat. So personally it wasn't a desire to taste the other side as so much knowing that if I wanted to be with Cross, I'd do it on My knees. I've never regretted it and I still love being there almost 9 years later. I should also mention, I never stopped dominating others. I was able to find someone who understood both needs were equal in My life. I still giggle when I hear Cross say, "Do whatever you want, but don't get any ideas about doing that stuff to Me."

Well, for myself, i have absolutely no desire to "pop the whip". That is just me though. i know many sub/slaves that do are have been or are being trained by their Dominant/Master to co-top or are being mentored by A/another. with respect, lily, collared and owned slave of Master Curios srn 308-692-331
