Its been 41 years, and now a democrat appointed justice department is still blaming shit on AIM.

FBI confirms black activist was killed during 1973 occupation of Wounded Knee

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The FBI says a black civil rights activist was killed during the 1973 occupation of Wounded Knee, and it suspects militant members of the American Indian Movement are responsible, according to recently released documents.

The hundreds of pages of reports provided to Buffalo, N.Y., attorney Michael Kuzma and shared with The Associated Press on Wednesday shed new light on the 40-year-old case of Ray Robinson, an activist and follower of Martin Luther King Jr. But the documents fall short of pinpointing where Robinson was buried and do little to fulfill his family's wish to have the remains brought home to Detroit.

Going on a statement from a "witness" the FBI has done little to confirm or even search for the body after the information was brought forward.

It really isnt surprising though, the FBI and justice department has done little to investigate the string of unsolved murders on the reservation between 1973 and 1976, although one woman was said to have died of exposure... with a bullet wound to the back of the head. Then in an effort to confirm her identity, her hands were removed and have not been seen since.

Then of course there was the fire at John Trudell's home on the reservation that was never investigated fully, even though his family died in it.

I would have thought that someone that venerates MLK would have a justice department that would actually look into these crimes, instead of just saying "AIM did it."

Oh well, there is still a man serving life in prison, convicted with the closing argument "we cannot prove he held the rifle that was used to kill these two agents, but someone has to pay."

The native american deaths that happened at the same time were never investigated.

Bullshit yes, the biggest no. The FBI and the DOJ has always investigated what it wanted or is told to by higher powers than a mere president and doesn't investigate anything on the same terms.

Bullshit yes, the biggest no.

The biggest loads of bullshit since Obama/Soetoro/Soebarkah was elected and re-elected were the first and second times he said "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Well hey I know it's tough. We can't always have a neocon, lying, criminal, surplus squandering, deficit spending, war mongering and profiteering, CIA field agent-outing, wall street gambler worse 2-term performing, supreme court-appointee, like Geo. W Bush as president that somehow almost magically, couldn't protect the pentagon.

So we deal with what we have.

Do ya think he misses those million/billion dollar no-bid contracts or the torture, most?

To the OP....I`m not at all surprised...during this time in America,we had almost a stasi like secret police operation going on, with thousands of agent provocateurs and thousands of counter agents with plenty of set ups ,fuck ups and cover ups.

There was so much going on that often no one knew what the other (agency) was doing.

There was a CIA operation that was so good at planting evidence and creating fronts to spread false intelligence about the soviets....that it fooled Reagan into thinking the CIA ops were soviet ops...

And no matter how many times the CIA said no,those are our guys, that our fake intel, ronnie still ordered huge amounts of money, resources and man-power into investigating the CIA cover-OPs...

They're blaming AIM for a death at Wounded Knee? If the body is ever found I'm willing to bet it will have police caliber rounds in it.
