why is it that some people have to be so shallow and cruel?

Looking for a Domme on this board, but can't help but notice that many female subs fall into the "moooooooo" category, much more so than the generally overweight population.  Why is that?

I can't help but notice a trend of  intellectually challenged "first" posts made by members who appear to have joined recently.  Why  is that?

Some of us, with considerable USENET and Internot MB experience, throw a ringer out there to check the room temp  (see my Post on Grace and Manners).  It's amazing how many of you long term members blow right in and blast your seasoned opinions across the screen.

Funny how that works, one provacative post returns 100 telling responses, before you know it the OP knows all about you and you know nothing about them....

Why is it that stating the obvious is reckoned as being shallow and cruel?

Why am I finding this entire thread amusing?  Must be because I haven't had my coffee yet...

And yes, I have two cats.  [;)]

Happy Friday, everyone!

mistoferin -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 6:22:10 AM)

ah....but the relevant question is...are they fat cats?

hizgeorgiapeach -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 6:28:33 AM)

Probably for the same reasons I am, Zumala - lack of sleep, lack of caffine in the system, and a true appreciation of the humor to be had from the various hijacks....

(Nope - I don't own cats... I have, however, been owned BY my cats since I was kneehigh to a grasshopper.  And no comments from the penis gallery about someone who's 5ft3 on a bad hair day still being kneehigh to a grasshopper! LOL )

mistoferin -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 6:31:39 AM)

if you're knee high to a grasshopper by the 4th of July ...does that mean it's going to be a good crop this year?

zumala -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 6:39:55 AM)

*grins*  No, they aren't fat cats.  Tinker's 12 pounds and Diego is about 10 pounds.  Tink has a saggy belly due to spaying, not fat.  If I knew how, I'd post their photo.

Do you mean to tell me that if you're NOT knee high to a grasshopper by the 4th of July, that the crop will fail?

How frustrating would THAT be to the masochist?[:)]

A ringer, eh?  Here's something else that's funny...notice how little, when you read most of these posts, you can actually learn about most of the posters.  Unless of course the reader is someone endowed with the ability to learn so much from so few lines.

Here's something I've learned...some people apparently don't have the guts to test the room temp themselves with a question so they throw in a fake poster...excuse me, a ringer.

Quivver -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 7:12:41 AM)

Oh my Dear Kedi, sarcasm aside... I assume your one who's been blessed with a metabolism I would pay dearly for!  I'm yet one more who struggles with weight and has for years.  I call myself an Air Fern (cause I can live on next to nothing)  ... but from studying this for a bit of time now I've learned quite a bit (trying to put it into practice) [;)]
What I'm saying is some of the excuses you hear from others do have some real basis in reality.  But rather then write a book here I'd be more then happy to explain on the other side..........

Often they explain it is their amazing low metabolism, glandular problem, or some other odd calorie producing thing aside from food.

So I have to wonder how nature has missed this amazing calorie from nothing thing. Why are we not all afflicted with something like this that can keep us well fed on nothing? Especially all those folks starving to death in drought afflicted countrys.

It's a bit of a mystery.....

shyboo -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 7:26:32 AM)

are most subs overweight?  the women i have meet in my journey have amazed me with their beauty inwards and out.  there are all sizes shapes and personalities out there.
does it really matter??

Cristalin -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 7:31:57 AM)

I think subs come in every shapes and sizes, and so do Dominants, I also think it`s about personalities and inner charm and the way they live their lives...of course, esthetic matters but the beauty of a mind is more subttle and I value it more.

WhiteRadiance -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 8:01:45 AM)

I have to wonder, when the OP is looking for a Domme and not a sub, why a sub's weight is the question?
I live in Alabama.. We have a high obesity rate because of lack of sidewalks, bicycle right of ways, public parks, etc.  This country is EXPANDING in more ways than one.. and it is not limited to lifestyle people.

I agree, it is what on the inside that counts, but as I have stated in a prior (long winded) thread, people judge by what they see.  Unfortunate for some, but not all.

LaTigresse -> RE: Why are most female subs overweight? (7/7/2006 8:03:36 AM)

why is it that every thread that has anything to do with weight continues on and on and on and on...................with the same boring old shit?

The first posts I am referring to are ones such as this OP.  Those who, a good part of the time create a  new name to blast others.  Posts like this are not provocative in a positive way, and usually only elicit the expected unwelcoming types of responses.  This would lead me to assume that the OP has no desire to learn or share anything productive, but simply to get a few digs in about whatever he/she has a problem with.

Most likely what the OP will learn about others in this case, is that most don't take kindly to someone coming on to whine, complain or criticize in their very first post....  and more than likely no one will  care to learn more about them.  If that is the goal of the "ringer" thread... then it should work.
