An important event to remember...
Thinking of friends and strangers, caught up in the event.

Yes, we remember, friends.

Yes, it's a good and nice thing to remember this. The UK has been quite our allies for a long time (and even if they weren't, I think it's terrible when anyone gets bombed by terrorists). They have stuck by us when we really needed them to do that and I, for one, am thankful.

I was just in the UK for the first time ever about 3-1/2 weeks ago. I really, really loved it. Especially the taxi-cabs and the drivers are sooo professional. I loved seeing the Thames (went on a river sight-seeing cruise), and the Tower of London. My favorite thing was Westminter Abbey. Harrod's was interesting. I lopved the Victoria and Albert Museum and I saw Kensington Palace, too. I just loved London. I would go back in a minute. The people were very, very nice.

Yep. We were damn lucky with the low number of deaths and injuries. Bad as they were there could have been a hell of a lot more.

It is also worth remembering it was Brits that purpetrated this attack and not foreigners.

The silent war,one which we are ill equipped to fight. The actions of the few mar the lives of the many and only serve to widen the divide and make the innocent, enemies. The few incite fear and hatred where perhaps previously there was none. These people if the term can be applied attack their own nation and thus have no right to call themselves or be regarded as that nation's countrymen, the term traitor comes to mind, not martyr, and as traitors they should be regarded, and those that conspire with them should be treated as such.

Thoughts go out to the innocent victims of this deadly and insane silent war in all countries affected.
