sorry, but had to answer 18, but infact i woz 16 when i first experienced the pain and pleasure of bdsm. as for when i thought and fantasied about stuff i now know is called bdsm, then prolly like Mr Warren, when i woz about 8.

Had my first expierience at 25-26 only cause i didnt know what it was before that. "Involved" in what way? I've played kinky games since the age of 18, but I didn't become "involved," as in lifestyle and community until my late 30's.

When I was a young boy of about 6 or 7 I loved to tie the neighboring girls who were about the same age to the poles in our barn. It was a game to us but it start a deep desire to bind a woman with rope. This later grew into my love of rope bondage that really become formal at the age of 17 with a young lady of the same age who had stolen some of her father's porn magazines that showed pictures of rope bondage. From there it was all downhill LOL

Okay i have changed the ages a bit sorry for those who have voted but there was a suprising amount who were under 19 so theres a couple of new categories. btw i just now becam involved at 22. I was intrested in starting probably 16 but didnt know my kinks had a whole society behind them if you will till recently, nor did i find a Dominant man till now.

My first boyfriends were all foot fetishists and very, very eager to please! They were the ones who didn't tell me it was wrong to spank a naughty boy(friend). My earliest recollection was trying on my mom's shoes sometime around age ten. Then fantasies of domination started in my 20s. It wasn't till I got my first computer and found the Internet that realized there were others like me and more importantly women willing to the recipient. I was involved in IRC chatrooms for about 2 years before my first RT experience Once I had a taste of the real thing I lost interest in IRC.

I knew from my first memories...I would have certain feelings when I saw images on TV or movies or in books. I also played with other kids in that way before I even knew what I was doing and why I was doing it. My first real experience was age 16...and never turned back.

I was spanked as a kid when I got into trouble, and like enigmabrat, I often spanked other kids when we played house and I was the "mom." I read the book 9 1/2 Weeks as soon as it came out, which was when I was in my early teens if not before. I did not know that other people actually "did" those kinds of things, but I know that the book's binding was heavily creased at all of the "good parts." I bought my first pair of handcuffs at a gift shop on a school trip to a historic prison when I was eleven. At the time I justified the purchase as joke but deep down I think I knew what I wanted them for. I still have them and can still escape from them with the aid of only a paper clip mostly due to the fact they are cheap rubbish.
