Is security in a D/s relationship as important love, sexual satisfaction or the desire to serve? Or more?
For me I think the security goes hand in hand with love---I am completely secure in my relationship and like love it did not happen instantly...trust developed and so did the security in each other. (Note I do feel in order to have security in the relationship a person should be pretty much secure within themselves first)
I think the security is extremely important....if I feel insecure in the relationship...I will have a difficult time feeling loved....sexual satisfaction and my desire to serve is going to do downhill pretty quick.

I keep seeing where security means trust but I guess I don't view it as having to do with trust. According to the definition of security, it's the state of being free from danger or threat. For me security with Master means he will take care of me and make sure that I am safe, be it financially, emotionally, and mentally.
