When a Master exerts power upon the slave (this can happen by various means i.e. voice, words, glance, mentally, physically, etc. with respect to the type of slave, as everybody is individual it would also be something very individual which would "work" on this slave) and by the skill of the Master to create a permanent bond with the slave making him/her trust and feel Her/His influence via this bond on a long term or lifetime basis would be owning.
In which way the Master exerts this power upon the slave can have so many different motives, it might happen in love, then it would be loving the slave.
