Elixir, hah! That's funny; it's actually called 'Intimate Massage Elixir'. [8D]

It's a heavy-weight medical-grade silicone lube I developed w/my doc after a brutal hysterectomy/cystectomy. Much more dense and concentrated than any silicone lube currently available (as far as I know). It can be used anywhere on or in the body (except eyes). Great for full body massage, nether parts (especially atrophied tissue from menopause), shining, detangling and defrizzing hair (and fur!), sticky zippers, squeaky doors, dry skin. No fragrance, preservatives, or color. Absolutely inert and hypoallergenic. Super long-lasting, waterproof and great for use in shower or pool: washes off with soap and water. Safe for use with latex, glass and acrylic toys. Cover silicone toys with a condom before using.

Sounds like wonderful stuff. I have always used powder for latex but a large tube and a tight mummy bag sounds like fun about now LOL.

Where can one buy the stuff?

I don't believe it! Tell me more! Can it make my whites brighter? Does it give me better gas mileage? Will it allow me to see in the dark? [:D]

Seriously, it sounds like you've got yourself a winner of a product there. Market it, and if you do, hire me to do the voice-overs, because I have The. Perfect. Infomercial. Voice. On. Earthhhhh. (Seriously, I do, I was a professional voice actor and I've got the samples to prove it).

Here's the bummer part, Lookie. The SHIPPING cost more than the materials!

If it weren't for the dang shipping cost and time spent bottling, labeling, and packing, I could blow all the commercial silicone lubes out of the water on price as well as quality.

I'd rather just be in the lab making this heavy-weight, the medium-weight version for...ahem...'regular' sex, and the lightest formula for body massage.

Maybe I need to find a distributor. Any volunteers? I'll pay you with enough 'elixir' to drown in! [8D]

Seriously, if it is good, regular lube that works with latex costs a bundle, you'd blow the competition out of the water with that....

I also have a BBA in General Management, and I've got experience in manufacturing, packaging, and advertising as well. The biggest problem is going to get FDA approval for a product that goes into such a 'personal space', but it's not a showstopper.

Agreed. The FDA oversees all cosmetic items, not just those used in 'intimate' areas.

To make money, you have to sell in bulk, which means you have to have FDA approval. The cost of product labeling, packaging, and shipping don't make it worthwhile on a small basis.

I think it's a great idea, but you need to do your research on the FDA requirements up front.
