BOUND
Bound to one another like two pieces of rope tied in a knot,
We compliment each other so well.
I spoke and you listened, ever so attentive, hanging on each and every word.
I described to you what you were unable to see.
I spoke of the world around us, things that you were blind to with your limited sight,
And you showed me what true feeling is,
Bringing new sensations to touch and sound.
I taught you how to speak, and you taught me how to hear.
I taught you how to see, and you taught me how to feel.
Bound together like two pieces of rope tied in a knot.
The harder we pull, the tighter we are bound.
