I lived in that country for nearly 20 years. I have followed the case as best I can in the media here in Denmark. I can’t pass a judgment about he is guilty of the one or other things. That really depends on his intents at the time of the incident, but I will tell another story I have seen countless times in the medias in South Africa. At 3 AM, head of the household wakes up as he think he has heard something sneaking around in the house. He grabs the 9 mm parabellum from the night stand and sneaks up and in to the lounge. When he gets there he sees a shadow moving and opens fire on it. When he gets the light switched on he find his 16 year old son laying on the floor, dead. He had just being out and was obviously afraid that the parents would give him hell for being out that late. Tragic, but stories like this could be read in my daily newspaper almost weekly. Whether it was a similar incident or he wanted to kill I am not sure. I wonder if the judges ever becomes sure of it too.

You don't seem to comprehend the difference between depriving people of firearms because of specific crimes they have committed and depriving everyone of them. Contrary to what you want to believe virtually all pro-gun people favor keeping them from people who have committed violent crimes.
