I've never been a fan of hers and I had to stop watching her show in the second season but Ms. Hargity should be applauded (in my view) for her efforts!

She's been doing this for a while. That most of those kits only get tested once a suspect is in custody is outrageous. Every kit should get done immediately after collection. The DNA comparison can then be done against the freshest possible sample.
