A military wife, told her husband was MIA in 1944, never stopped looking.

You can see what she found here.

In the national archives it was discovered he was KIA.

I'm a total cry baby with stuff like this. I went to Arlington on Veteran's Day last year. I thought I would just take a brief stroll around because my original plan was really to go to the Smithsonian. I ended up walking around Arlington for over 4 hours and never realized I had been there that long. That place just draws you in like a powerful magnet. I would love to be able to visit Normandy some day.
