I am a fan of mastery, though I consider it a necessary trait due to my own level of personal control.  Dominance though, is where my comfort level rests as it takes a lot of trust for me to give someone that extra amount of control.  Playmates are ok, but for me at least, lacking in substance.

I'm wondering if there is anyone who wouldn't prefer mastery.

I guess me, since my comfort level leans more toward dominance.  I personally believe that any adult over say, age 40 should already be comfy in their skins with a great familiarity of their spiritual side and mental development.  It is not the case of course, but I would like to think they made some effort toward mastering themselves as people whether it is as a dom, sub, or nilla.

For me it's always a question of ardor. If a woman has no experience or even inclination towards being submissive, but is super into me and gets wet at the thought of me being the boss, than we can def. do biz together.

Likewise, if he's loving your experiments, really connecting with you on this stuff, and staying up late thinking about more, than he is ardorous at level that can go somewhere good.

But if you're writing this post, I'm guessing he's not.

In which case, to answer your question, yes, you can teach someone a broadly dominant role. No, you can't necessarily get the chemistry you want/need attached to that.
