So you prove all our points regarding your absolute grace and dignity.

But you know what? I wouldn't blame you one bit if you had "why me" moments.

I agree 100% .... I can only hope that I would be able to handle myself with the bravery, grace, and dignity that you possess. You are inspiration me.

Hell yes. I'm not nearly as sick and I whine a lot more. I cannot imagine the indignity you have to go through.

The only ones who I don't have patience for is those who constantly whine, "why me?"

Funny you should mention that. This was my Facebook update just before bed last night:

As I settle into year two of the apparently endless oncology adventure, it strikes me that the real question isn't, and never has been, "Why me?" Those are two words I've tried very hard never to utter. Rather, as I hear tales from others trudging their own painscapes, the true heart-breaker is "Why anyone?"

And 'G' for generous, as well. Even in the depths of this, DC, you are always wishing the highest for others.

Without squishing him to bits, is there any chance you could give him an extra hug from those of us that wish we could, but will never meet him? Please?

wonderful, then one from me please [:)]

DC, as it was a full moon last night I was doing my usual candle lighting for various different things. One is always lit for those that I know who are going through tough times, and certain people get special mention during lighting. You always have a special mention along with a couple of others, and now it would seem that via Lucy I can send you a hug too xx

I can sympathize with the bag leakage. Mine happened at Wal-Mart of all places. It was just one of those days where I thought "I'm so fucking done.."

Hang in there xoxo

If you get a chance (and maybe you know), but tube tops are fantastic around the middle. It's a bit of added protection.

GreedyTop -> RE: DC Update: Weary and Waiting (3/21/2014 10:55:25 AM)

DC.. I know that you know that I adore you beyond words.]

I am hoping that Lucy will be kind enough to pass along a hug for me too, since I am not there (I may be, soon, sadly.. you understand...)

ShaharThorne -> RE: DC Update: Weary and Waiting (3/21/2014 12:35:54 PM)

I don't know if anyone remembers me mentioning my great aunt G, being DXed at the same time with leukemia. She did a round of chemo and it made her sick to the point of having to be hospitalized for 4 months. When they reviewed her case, they discovered the cancer was gone...but she was still weak. One day, she fell and broke a few bones. So she is cussing mad about dealing with that but she is handling it...her husband had to learn to duck when she throws the cane. She will tell you, DC, to hang in there. If she can handle a few broken bones and chemo, you can too. At least your MiMA has been taken care of and dealing with a bag can be troublesome. Get yourself a cane and throw it when things don't go your way.

And at least one from me, please, Lucy! More if DC can tolerate it! [sm=cute.gif]

You would be a man of steel DC, and much better than I, if you didn't ask...you know who...WHY!!!!....I've been known to do that from time to time and even using the Goddammit a few times with much less reason than you.
