Okay, we all know it is a violent world out there. Nut cases (like me) have guns and some of them (not me) use em in criminal acts.

Now a Swiss fashion firm has come to the rescue.

You can now purchase a level two (NATO standards) bullet proof suit, with 880 black diamonds decorating its buttons and lapel. These are custom tailored to fit, so you will not be wearing off the shelf, and much more stylish than a ballistic vest.

These are also water proof with an active cooling system.

Finally they are very reasonably priced at $3.2 million dollars, so there is no reason you cant have one for every day of the week.

Diamond Armor Bulletproof Suit

Now personally, being the uncivilized Texan that I am, I prefer the bullet proof vest, with the faux shirt covers, which I have found out can be purchased in any style, not just the LEO uniform shirt.

As for accessories, there are a few to choose from, such as Armatix Smart System for Firearms or if you just want brute force, there is Double Barrel Pistol which is a semi automatic and the first of its kind.

Unfortunately, the umbrella designed by the KGB that can fire a micro bead loaded with poison into someone is not commercially available at this time.

Certainly more stylish than my kevlar vest. No ladies' version though? Something in an evening gown, perhaps?

While I'm ordering it, I'll also get the bubblewrap suit for underneath it. I don't want to save myself from a bullet only to bruise myself walking into a door.

hmm....an evening dress mught be a challenge.....I mean, how much of a entrance would you make in somethng that couldn't be backless and had a high collar and long sleeves? Be brave....go for the MICRO dress!

But the bubble wrap would definitely be a nice touch. Hell I might walk myself into a few door just for that kinky sensation of the bubbles popping.

I'll stick with my ringmesh. <grin>

http://www.ringmesh.com/

Actually, ringmesh is a godsend for renaissance style fencing in hot southern climes. A traditional fencing jacket seals the body heat in while the metal mesh lets are blow through. Even the expensive Spectra jackets are hotter. And ringmesh has the same tested resistance to penetration at low velocity as the 1600kg rated Spectra fabric. (brand name of fine weave kevlar material used in Olympic style fencing apparel.. very pricey)
Wear ringmesh under a shirt and it doesn't look like you have protective gear on at all.

I have a feeling that suit is made of Spectra.

BTW, you can't cut Spectra with scissors. The common cutting implement is a razor wheel on a 10,000 rpm die grinder like implement.

BTW, ringmesh quit marketing their cocktail dress, supposedly, after a lawsuit where intimate body piercing got hung up in the mail.

Maybe they will come out with a sapphire screened bubble helmet to go along with the suits....kinda tough though with global warming coming on... all this bullet proof stuff would be pretty warm i would think.

My question...

As with most body armor, does it make your chest smell like your feet?

And would you ever trust a dry-cleaner with your $3.2million suit?
