Since you referenced the dead asshole thread, might I remind you that I said from go over there that I did not think the shooting was justified, and that the cop would be going to prison?
The interaction between the two men began over texting. That the shooter had texted earlier means nothing if the house lights were still up, and the time between his text and the altercation strongly suggests they were.
Let's bring up another detail, since we are on the subject of dishonest bullshit. Prior to the altercation turning physical, the shooter disengaged from the discussion and left the auditorium. He went to the management of the theater for a resolution. When he returned, the asshole who wound up dead chose to reinitiate the incident by taunting the old man, and flinging something into his face.
Got that? The old man walked away. The asshole who wound up dead started the second act. Plug that into your equation, or drop the pretense that your position isn't "dishonest bullshit," as the phrase gets used in these parts.
