Another point, OP, which I hope you take in the friendly spirit I intend it:
You might have more success looking for personal experiences and evidence using a more neutral profile, not one you are also searching on. Personally, I would be reluctant to help out with research if someone approached me from a seeking profile. In part, because it'd make me concerned that it was just someone looking for stories to wank to, and in part because you're making it clear that you're biased on this topic. I might feel unable to speak freely about an interest on your 'hates' list for fear of judgement, for example.
Now I'm not saying that you are looking for wank fodder, or that you would judge someone, but it will muddy the waters and I think it's best to keep a nice clear divide between unbiased researcher and potential date.
