Blondbisub -> What is "Old Guard"? (11/21/2004 4:13:02 PM)

Hello,

I have come upon a new term to me on this site: "Old Guard". What is it?

I have never heard of that term since I first started reading about the lifestyle in 1999. The explanation the site has is of no help.

Thank you. :)

Here's a link with a ton to read about it:

http://www.io.com/~ambrosio/manners/#oldguard

This link is also useful:

The same site has an article on "Old Guard, New Guard" by the world-famous Gayle Rubin:

Hope this helps.

Blond, you don't know what you've started. Be afraid, be very afraid. [;)]

there seems to be many schools of thought on this subject when I researched it I just put it in the engine and went there, the original old guard was started in Frisco many many years ago and was primarily gay males I think, look it up it says everything..........Mike
