I am new to this site and new to this lifestyle. I have no experience and very little knowledge. I am looking to educate myself somewhat before working toward finding a very patient master.

One of the most important things you should know is yourself. Who are you? What do you want? How much control are you willing to give to another? Are you a totally submissive or just sexually? Once you have answers to these kind of questions you'll have a better idea of the kind (or should I say type because we are not all kind) of master you need.

I have to agree with Loki, that was very well put.

And i hope you don't mind, but i took a look at your profile (that's what it's there for, after all), and i enjoyed the last line.

I'm not dominant, but i can only imagine how boring it would be to dominant a weak willed woman...

You joined today so you probably have a lot of email by now. :)
Most of them you can just delete. About 5% will be from nice
guys. That's according to a non-scientific study done on Collarme.

Search the forums to see if a question you have has been answered.
It probaly has but it may have been awhile. Remember that all of us
have been in your shoes [newbie]

Education is the key to this lifestyle. You can find a lot online but
getting involved in the local community is even better.
