LadyHugs -> RE: How to thank a Master ? (7/9/2006 4:10:15 PM)

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen;

One thing I learned out of many things, working with horses.  For those equestrians out there, will know exactly what I speak about.

When you are riding an English trained horse, the rider can speed or slow the horse down, especially at a trot, by the tempo of their post, to which for those who aren't equestrians is to rise and sit on the saddle at a trot which is easier on both rider and horse.  A soft rise and fall will slow the horse down but, should the rider wish more power and speed to the trot, the rider thrusts up and hard forward and return soft.  The horse being of nature, requires balance at all times, will speed up as to be in balance with the rider who sets the pace.  No need for spur, whip, adjustment of the reins,or a word.  Just a rider throwing the horse into a different balance will cause the horse to adjust themselves to stay in balance with the rider.

Invisible to the others, unless they are a keen observer and know such equestrian skills--it looks effortless.

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
Lady Hugs

Have you tried asking him if he needs any help with anything? Even if it is just research for a project or something like that looking for information about things online can be time consuming and if you offer to do it for him he might appreciate it. Perhaps you can just look for things that might amuse him, making someone smile is an important part of giving them a gift.

Dear Angelsmile,

You are clearly very capable of expressing yourself with the written word.  Perhaps you could write him a poem or something like that...  from your heart to his...  [:)]

Angelsmile -> RE: How to thank a Master ? (7/10/2006 6:42:34 AM)

Sorry, perhaps I did not succeed to express myself properly.
By "gift" I do not mean at all anything material, but submission as a counter-gift to the Master's gift. LadyHugs understands so well what I mean. There is nothing like a Master, but what when he is miles away on the other side of the planet and refuses to take what would in all honesty be HIS ?

Writing these lines with tears in my eyes. The only thing I can do then is to leave Him for always exclusively giving, never taking, not allowing me to submit or to give anything to Him in return.

Both could have been so happy, but under these conditions it just hurts so much.
Feeling so worthless and useless and helpless. Not only He doesn't accept submission, He doesn't even want to accept my true tears, not even this.

It just hurts too much and in my view is cruel.

*feeling really horrible and giving up sadly*

MstrTiger,

I know several people in the BDSM environment and with E/everybody else it works. "It" means the Give and Take. I never had any unbalances in the BDSM environment before. When A/anybody knowing me for a longer period of time and being close to me made a gift to me (not material !) I did all my best to pay it back at least, but mostly to pay back much more and to do all which is possible for the O/one too. I can go very very far in doing this, doing things nobody else would do not even the best friends of this person. Also I did these researches you suggested for a friend of mine who is switch and I am still continuing to do it and to help him whenever I can. I cannot bear any unbalances. With E/everybody else this give and take works except with this TPE-Dom who refuses to take whatever it is. I have been asking him for month what can I do for Him, I sent him nice poems, I made a powerpoint file which is selfpresenting and with music. I sent him nice pictures, I sent him jokes, I sent him a photo. MstrTiger I feel so useless to Him. There must be something that would really please him, but not knowing what it is, I cannot do anything. It seems like he hides it deep inside, but why ?

Dear Daddysredhead,

I did sent him several poems but no reaction, so He doesn't seem to like that. Feeling like sitting helpless and cueless in front of a much too tall and extremely thick brick wall not knowing what are His real desires so well hidden by this impervious thick brick wall. What is he hiding ? He will not let me know, this is sure. I have asked since several month. Dont know, if He hides his desires I must be the wrong girl for Him ?

Dear LadyHugs,

equestrian skills are a big plus *smiles*.  Well I am not a horse, but perhaps a lot alike, agreeing 100 % with what You say. The friend who understands me best and deals best with me under all circumstances has equestrian skills, too and he also dealt a lot very successfully with dogs. For him it is effortless.

The conclusion would be then, that this dom is either not a good experienced rider or just the wrong rider for the wrong horse ?

Or perhaps on the one hand he is the right rider as he is much stronger then all those others I know, but on the other hand perhaps he is not the right one, because missing these skills, skills for timing, taking, ability to accept submission, etc.

I very much like what You said:
"The horse being of nature, requires balance at all times"

Before reading Your lines I wrote Him an email saying something very similar: that by not accepting what is duely His, he is blocking natural flow of energy, energy must flow not only from Him to me like a one-way street but it must flow back to Him. He giving, me taking it for a while, then me giving it back to Him by submitting to Him. This is the way it works. It must circulate, this is the natural order. When energy exclusively flows from Him to me and he then only makes all this energy get stuck in me, this is very cruel, since I cannot handle it. This is flooding, and I feel in my heart that flooding is not o.k. and against the rules.

It is like if the rider would give the horse to drink so much and even if it is not thirsty any more he would still keep on craming it with more and more water, but He would never ride this horse then and this horse would never be permitted to gallop for Him. So it is a useless horse, and by the way that horse will burst (as I do actually) as useless is the action of the rider to fill this horse endlessly up with water.

LadyHugs Your words consoled me, thank You so much.

Greetings

I created an online journal for my Master's eyes only.  In this journal, I write all my honest thoughts and feelings about the journey of submission that he leads me on.  I honor my Master in my journal, and he has told me that this pleases him greatly.  In my journal I tell everything...I share my spirit, and I praise him.  He enjoys this thanks tremedously.  I don't know if it would work for you, but you could try.

WayWardSoul -> RE: How to thank a Master ? (7/12/2006 1:48:18 AM)

The best gift you can give him is to take the lessons he has/is given you and use them in your life, and not slide back to the destructive behavor of the past. It seems to me thats all he is asking for and maybe he isn't getting that else where. He might just enjoy hearing how he has helped you.

Dear WayWardSoul,

the last days and nights were horrible for me with a strong attack of submission towards Him, which would have been the normal way to thank Him, but which however - due to the far local distance - cannot not be put into practice. I never experienced such a strong feeling before, it was completely overwhelming me. Besides the far local distance which prevents me from thanking Him in an obvious and natural way by submitting to Him, I realize that I am far too vanilla for such a strong dominant like Him, which means even if  I  c o u l d  give Him what he is looking for, craving for (me absolutely not knowing what it is) it would never be the same as if somebody else would perhaps be able to give. After thinking several days and nights long back and forth without finding any viable solution, I finally gave in to what You say, WayWardSoul, since there seems to be nothing else I can do. It is hard for me to understand that He doesn't want anything in return,  there is then only one option left: I finally had to realize that the best way to thank a Master is just to follow His advices. And I promise Him, that I will do.

Greetings

Angelsmile
