Why there is no option for "African" in the ethnicity drop down box on the other side? Every other ethnicity has it's own designation but there is only African American for anybody who is of African descent or African. I am not African myself, but have always wondered why there isn't an option. Maybe Collarme could add that option.

Not having a rant or anything, just curious.

Yes, we also frequently get the request to add more Orientation options. If this were as simple as adding an option to the dropbox, I have enough skills to do it. But, alas, it is more complicated that that.

If there are any back end developers who would like to do some volunteer work, please CMail me.

This is a topic that comes up a lot.  When looking over the code for choices I see beginning at line 552:

<select name="f13" class="WhiteFields">
<option value="
3233" selected>Any</option>
<option value="
42
43" >Caucasian</option>
<option value="
5253" >Asian</option>
<option value="
6263" >Hispanic</option>
<option value="
72
73" >Indian</option>
<option value="
8283" >Middle Eastern</option>
<option value="
92
93" >Native American</option>
<option value="
102103" >African American</option>
<option value="
112113" >Mixed</option>
<option value="
122
123" >Other</option>
</select>

It does look like it needs some change.  The category of COUNTRY (not shown above) pegs people down by location which would could be separated by race.  There are only 3 actual races by definition listed below.

Caucasion:
Skull: Dolicephalic(Long-Head),High forehead,Little supraobital development.
Face: Mainly Leptoproscopic( Narrow)Sometimes Meso- or even Euryproscopic, Neither Facial nor alveolar prognathism occurs except among some archaic peoples.
Nose:Long, narrow, high in both root and bridge.
Mongoloid:
Skull: High incidence of Brachycephaly(Short Round Head)
American Indians while Mongoloid are often Dolicephalic.
Foreheads slightly lower than that of the Caucasoid.
No Supraobital development.
Face: Wide and short, projecting cheek bones, Prognathism rare. Shovel shaped incisors common especialy in Asia.
Nose: Mesorine(Low and Broad in both root and bridge.
Negroid:
Skull: usually Dolicephalic, a small minority are Brachycephalic.
Forehead most often high, little supraobital development.
Face: Leproscopic (to a much lesser degree than the Caucasion), Prognathism common in most Negro populations.
Nose: Low & broad in root and bridge with characteristic depression at root.

This would make me from the country of the USA and categorized as a Mongoloid/Caucasian as I am part Native American (Mongoloid)  + Spanish (Caucasian).  Here is where things get tricky, some Spaniards are not Caucasian.  LOL wow this can be complex.

So maybe the categories should be by continent. Judging by fet, there's a lot of people from Antarctica out there.
