anesnyc -> ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 1:02:48 PM)

i'm hoping to get clear on the difference between FinDommes and ProDommes. my understanding is that ProDommes session in person and that FinDommes work online.

Is that correct?

mnottertail -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 1:21:48 PM)

not really.   proDommes will do certain sessions for money, and may or may not have other jobs.  A finDomme wants your wallet, thats the point of the whole thing.

TieMeInKnottss -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 1:47:34 PM)

Pro-Dommes, I believe do a variety of scenes and will do impact play..based on what you hire them to do (of course, non-sexual since that would be illegal)

Fin-Dommes are a specific "kink". It is the "you are worthless and can only get a woman to talk to you because you pay her" type of humiliation thing... As stated above, usually fin-Dommes are online but pro-Dommes because of the services they offer must meet in person usually at a dungeon or club

ThePrincessKali -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 2:12:21 PM)

I'm a fin Domme and I do both online and RT. Although many fin dommes are exclusively online. The difference is that Pro Dommes will act out a specific scene or dominate a sub or fulfill their fetish for a certain amount of money. However in financial domination the money exchange is the actual fetish. It's more about psychological control rather than physical domination. A finsub gets off on giving their money to a fin Domme. There isn't a services exchange per say.

Many thanks to all.

TNDommeK -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 5:54:10 PM)

I must disagree with ottertail, an actual fin Domme takes control of your finances.
It's not just your wallet they're after.
There's a thread called "is fin Domme a legit form of D/s"
Read that. It's long but very informative as to the differences.

I also must disagree with Kali on the pro Domme description.
I'm a pro as well and my sessions are catered to what *I* want, not what the sub wants...
no matter how much money.
I control the money, it doesn't control me.

Now I could be the only Domme doing things like this but.. It works for me.
:)

mummyman321 -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 9:02:51 PM)

In general, a ProDomme is a Domme who is paid by a client for a specific BDSM fantasy. She is providing a BDSM service for money. ProDomme's typically list the services they provide on their website or via a polite phone call to them. BDSM services vary by ProDomme.

Ionium -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (3/31/2014 9:09:19 PM)

While I don't personally agree with the legal definition, if there is sexual touching (i.e., any touching of the buttocks, genitals, or female breasts) and if the money is explicitly for the sexual touching, then it's prostitution, in the eyes of the law.

FriendlyMuppet -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (4/1/2014 8:18:37 AM)

In my opinion (and others may have opinions of their own), the distinction is that a findomme uses money as a part of the fetish, whereas a professional dominant is a dominant who dominates submissives for money. It may not sound like a difference, but it's a huge one. Now, that means some professional dominants CAN be findommes, but generally not the other way around, meaning that a financial dominant might want your money, but she may not actually provide you with professional domination sessions.

frunandsins -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (4/1/2014 3:11:47 PM)

It's interesting that I have yet to see a self-identified finDom, whether soliciting female or male subs. Does such a thing exist?

I know a coouple D/s pairs who play "tributes" where the subs gift and pay for things as part of the submission and both were dominant son/submissive daddy dynamics. But I don't think I've run across a Dom who self-identifies as a financial Dom.

Ionium, Ilyrium, Maradium...did you purchase the 'ium' 12-pack?

I should point out the law also does not consider an unwanted tongue forced down my throat as 'sexual' and thus could not be prosecuted that way. The only saving grace was he went for an ass-grab. To me, the mouth/tongue thing was every bit as sexual and disgusting as trying to shove a prick into an unwilling recipient's ass.

TNDommeK -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (4/1/2014 3:54:30 PM)

Frun, I am a fin Domme. I'm also a pro and lifestyle Domme. Yes that can exist.

PeonForHer -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (4/1/2014 4:05:59 PM)

FinDommes tend to have larger thighs and more cellulite than ProDommes, anesnyc. They also have hairy moles in unfortunate places, and bad breath.

Yes there are, and they're not all young punks either. Eventually you'll see a profile here and there pop up on homepage, fruns. Other times, a Dom will not self-identify as such, but he will expect his sub to hand over her/his paycheck to him. Whether he sets any aside to invest for when his slave's contract is up however many years down the road, who knows. I've only heard of one case of that happening, where the Dom was fiscally responsible with his slave's earnings.

ETA: There are pro-subs, but fin-subs/fin-slaves are the fin-Dom/me's clients. Can you tell me whether there are gay pro-subs?
+ Peon: You have issues, or else terribly bad luck, young chap.

Nup. It's more to do with a front door that won't open and a fevered imagination. [;)]

I am SO biting my tongue right now, I can't tell you.... [8D]

Pyramus -> RE: ProDomme / FinDommme (4/6/2014 4:21:00 PM)

It's all about bartering resources.

You trade your financial resources to a FinDomme in trade for her fetish services, while you trade your monetary resources to a ProDomme, in trade for her fetish services.

Hmmm. Perhaps it's time I posted a ducklips pic taken in a trashed bathroom while flipping the bird. Do I get extra points if I have a cold dookie in the pot as well? >hurries off to start up a PayPal account and Amazon wishlist<[;)]
