I'm curious about the whole lifestyle, but debating if I want to pursue it. I am recently separated, but would like to start expressing my Dom side. Is 52 too old to start?

Welcome to the CM forums.

And of course your not too old to learn to be a dom. There are loads of topics here in the forums to read and also FAQ's. If you have any questions, feel free to post.

Good luck to you.

"Learning to be a dom?" That a new concept.
.for the fifty shades inspired maybe. But in truth one is..or isn't. .submissive or dominant.

Hello and welcome Sazhe its nice to have you here on the discussions side where all kinds of topics are discussed. Take a look around and see what we are all about. I would suggest heading to ask a Master and ask your question there..... I would think you would get your best answer there. Here in intros its usually where you come and tell use a bit about yourself so that we can get to know you better.

Its always nice having new faces among us.....best of luck in your search.

Learning to be a dominant is not a new concept at all, in fact it is a concept that is unfortunately going out of fashion but really shouldn't be. Lots of people now seem to try to avoid being experienced and just being a dominant skipping a lot of important steps. I am honestly very glad that you have came to the concept of bdsm in the idea of learning Sazhe rather than being like a lot of people now who lie about experience in it straight off the bat. Most people who are involved in their communities either have known someone who has been in a scene where something went terribly wrong or have actually been in a scene which has gone terribly wrong. In these cases those without experience and have came to bdsm with a belief that they are able to be a perfect dominant straight away have lead to a much worse out come than those who actually have been taught. For example a little while ago everyone was talking about a guy who tied up two girls and one died and one went to hospital (I didn't follow it too much so I don't know all the details) from what I gathered it would of all been avoided if he had a knife on hand to cut the rope.

Also no Sazhe dominance is what you and your submissive make of it and even at your age it is not too late.
