Hiya everyone,

Young arty trans woman from the UK here, checking in! I've always been interested in kink, and have a bit of experience in it, but I'm somewhat of a novice, I think.

I guess this side of CM is probably more where I ought to be - I've made a profile and all, but what I'mreally interested in is chatting to people about queer issues, gender, kink, and the overlaps between the two. I think there's lots of interesting conversations to be had about them - stimulating intellectually and otherwise - and I'd really like to learn more about them. Looking forward to getting to know y'all!

Welcome aboard, ElleEArr! What kind of artsy things do you enjoy?

Thanks Remote User!

Art-wise, I mostly enjoy sculpting (in clay/stone), etching, and metalwork. I would say that it made me good and dextrous with my hands (with a huge, ostentatious wink), but the fact that one hand is currently lightly acid-stained and the other is covered in jeweller's saw cuts rather shows the lie in that ...

Welcome to the discussion forums. This side tends to lean toward cis-heteronormativity so we don't talk about queer or gender theory very often. Please do start some discussions on those topics. I look forward to participating in them.

NBMG - thanks! I get the impression that this is the fun side, definitely! :)

Sylverë - thank you too! Yeah, I kinda got that impression about the forums from my initial browsing - while there's a lot of really positive and inspiring stuff (I notice you and a couple of other people - Hausboy, njlauren, etc - have made some really good educational posts on this, so thanks!), there's also a bunch of material on gender and queer issues that made me roll my eyes so hard they nearly left my skull.

I guess that's a good thing, though - I'm interested in seeing the kink community in all its variety, and look forward to discussing a lot of these matters in future.
