I would say a black man, since my husband is black. He isn't African so I didn't vote.

FR~ I can't answer the poll because for me, the race is completely irrelevant. It's the person inside that triggers me, not the colour of their skin. And it's definitely a racist-based question.

Observing my experiences in the last house I was living as well as here....I realise, that living under a roof with folks from other nationalities (based on those experienced examples) is way less drama than it has been with other folks from my country.... So whilst it all depends on the person itself....I refuse to chose one "race" to be above another one...

My preferred race is the Kentucky Derby. However, I also enjoy the Belmont, Preakness, and Kentucky Oaks.

I'm still searching for someone of the Other race. Seriously, this poll bothers me in several ways. One of them is that people's ethnicity is viewed as a skin variation instead of addressing the cultural differences that do make a significant difference.

--FR-- I don't see preferring people of one race or ethnicity over another as necessarily being racist in any way, though it might be, depending on your own mindset. To me, preferring a woman of a particular ethnicity is no different than preferring blonds, or tall women, or thin women or..... I had something of a crush on a Japanese cheerleader in high school, and have had a personal preference for Asian women ever since. Given a choice between several woman of differing ethnic backgrounds, all other things being equal I would probably choose the Asian woman. It's simply a personal preference, and it certainly isn't a "necessary" quality. Most of the women I've dated have been from a variety of other races, and the one woman I was married to was a tall redhead from Oklahoma. That's about as non-Asian as you can get.

I definitely have a race preference. I prefer to date my own race or Caucasian. I have a very shallow thingy, I find 2 tone dicks very unattractive looking and I feel sexually turn off by the look of that. So I could possibly date a darkest shade of a man who has one tone, but there are few of them out here, and I literally don't know any, but those two tone ones, I just can't bring myself to like the look of it. Also, I'm extremely anti-religion. Certain races are associated with specific religion, not even by their choice, we live in a country and surrounding countries where it's mandated by law that certain race MUST be certain religion, or it's death penalty for them, and infact, associated with forced conversion if I wanted to marry that race, so no matter what, I don't get romantically involve with that specific race. Wouldn't want to fall inlove and then can't get married because his idiot religion insist I convert. And local laws won't recognize my marriage to him as legal if I refuse to convert. I live a world where religious freedom is still not reality and certain races are enslaved to be of that religion, so unfortunately, they are associated with that religion. No prizes for guessing which religion is that.
