I am assuming that the Chavez in the OP refers to the late Hugo Chavez, the Venezulan radical leftist.

If this assumption is correct you are going to have to explain the connection you see (or imagine) between Bundy's backwoods problems with the Federal US Govt and a long dead South American socialist. Because I can't see one.

DomKen -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 3:02:30 AM)

I'm actually more interested by Kirchner. Is he implying that the President of Argentina is somehow part of some plot to deny some asshole in Nevada his "rights?"

Why waste the time when you know the poster is going to be partisan and spew the usually partisan bullshit. In fact it is one of the main reasons I usually skim past your posts also.

Some, on the other hand, rather enjoy spanking purple the ass of ignorance.
In fact that is the main reason I never skim past your posts.

More like uninteresting bullshit. Including your title for the thread.

Tweaks has already nailed the gist of it.

Just curious. Did you read either article?

Politesub53 -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 5:33:00 PM)

More to the point, did you ?

Neither mentions Chavez or Kirchner like you seem to think.

I did. The first is pablum and the second is conspiracy nonsense easily disproven by anyone who can google. But neither mention the President of Argentina. I really want to know WTF you think she has to do with some asshole in Nevada not paying his grazing fees for 20 years?

MrRodgers -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 5:38:57 PM)

Well, I know the feeling of the OP. I too miss the good ole days...starting two illegal wars, after allowing or being complicit in attacks on NY and the pentagon, don't pay for those wars, calling American opposition traitors, going from $5 trillion in surplus into deficit with $6 more trillion in borrowing, throwing $11 trillion down the tubes or handouts and tax bennies to your thieving buddies, like creating a retail drug benefit for a windfall for your big pharma buddies, for now a $22 trillion unfunded liability.....

.....out 2 CIA field agents when they dispute false evidence, use the DOJ to stop the states from going after shit-paper mortgages so wall street could sell them as corrupted SEC and S & P's AAA shit bonds, blow it out their asses so the great free-market taxpayers [sic]...bail out the world's richest socialists, create federal law in direct violation of the bill of rights.....

.....end up the worse 2 terms pres in job creation and on every other level in the nation's history.....

....ALL so you could blame it on the new black dem. Yep, those were the good ole days.

Can anybody really think of any reason whatsoever, to ever vote for any republican for any office at all ?

Sure. More of them seem to give a shit about my personal freedom than Democrats.

Musicmystery -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 6:33:39 PM)

Then you apparently aren't interested in sex.

Which particular personal freedoms are you speaking of?

Well, I'm still getting laid so I'm not sure I see the connection.

Musicmystery -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 6:39:25 PM)

Then you aren't paying much attention to Republican positions. And haven't been for quite some time.

So it's no wonder you can't see the point.

That Republicans are for personal freedom is among the most ludicrous statements of the century.

Its all cases where the state feels empowered to dictate solutions to its citizens.

thompsonx -> RE: The tyranny of Reid/Obama/Kirchner/Chavez... (4/16/2014 7:01:50 PM)

So let’s have some sympathy for Cliven Bundy and his family. They don’t have a chance on the law, because under the Endangered Species Act and many other federal statutes, the agencies are always in the right.

This here fella wants us to be sympathetic to the parasite because he feels the laws are right and the parasite is wrong but we still ought to have some sympathy for this millionaire thief.

And their way of life is one that, frankly, is on the outs.

When the congress repeals the farm subsidy bill and not one moment before.

They don’t develop apps. They don’t ask for food stamps.

They are the direct benificiary of the food stamp program. All one need do is check with google on the origins of the food stamp program to find out that it is designed to help sell excess american produced food products at taxpayers expense.

It probably has never occurred to them to bribe a politician.

The farm loby does not bribe politicians[8|]

They don’t subsist by virtue of government subsidies or regulations that hamstring competitors.

Obviously this clown has never read the farm subsidy bills that come out of congress both demopub and republicrat.
They aren’t illegal immigrants.

How do we know that?

They have never even gone to law school.

That is why they hire lobbiest who have.

So what possible place is there for the Bundys in the Age of Obama?

Perhaps he should try bribing someone who can do him some good....duuuuhhhhh...

Mainly, those freedoms that tend to involve my job,

Is it the government's job to give you a job or protect the one you have?

my income,

Is it the government't job to limit or increase your wages?

my taxes,

Which taxes have been laid unfairly on you by the government?

my healthcare,

What limits do you feel the government rightly may put on your health care?

my property,

Is it the government's job to protect your property?

and my ability to protect myself.

What has the government done to limit your ability to protect yourself?

I don't think so. Yeah, I think they're on the wrong side of things like abortion and gay marriage but those aren't the only issues of personal freedom out there.
