I don't know how many of you played any of the previous Elder Scrolls games, but one thing that used to intrigue me about them was how many people were able to find kink situations in those games. Some of the dominant women I knew well used to play Morrowind, and they used to talk about how they were able to enslave certain characters and have their way with them. Then the sequel Oblivion came out and I heard similar stories from there. Skyrim was their latest single player game, and while I hadn't heard stories of kink stuff in it, I played it enough to know that there were probably all sorts of opportunities to make it happen.

Anyhoo, lately I've been playing the MMO version of Elder Scrolls (which just released a few weeks ago), and I was in one of those random towns that aren't all that important. But I was in that town's inn, and I kept hearing the sound of some guy wailing in pain. In a game like this, it's not unusual to hear, as sometimes the background sounds are people in despair (it's a dark fantasy game, so that sort of thing happens). But in this inn, it didn't really make a lot of sense until I wandered into the basement.

In the basement, there were a bunch of partitions up and past the partitions was a man and women standing alone. The guy had no shirt on, and his hands were behind his back. (that's not a natural position for any character in this game) The game lets you talk to everyone, so I clicked on him and he said something like "Go away. I don't need your help here." Sounded kind of strange, but then I clicked on the woman, and she said something along the lines of "He was bad and he needs to be punished."

There was nothing else about the exchange, but further attempts to talk to them yielded similar stuff like "This is for his own good." And stuff like that.

Just thought I would share this with you as I'm always out looking for this sort of thing. Sometimes, it's just coincidence, but in this game, I think it's designed to be very much what I suspect it is.

Kink in games, both obvious and discreet, has been around since people sat together and entertained themselves. It is a part of our human nature after all, we are sexual beings. Hell, they had text based sex games written in DOS, and you could buy badly animated pixel sex games for the atari 2600. If you really want to see sex and depravity in an MMO, play Conan. You can cut people's heads off, stab them through the chest, and all while completely naked

I think if you wanted to you could see religion in any game. You could see devil worship. You could see proof of no gods.

What I'm getting at is that you can see what you want in games/movies if you want to see it.

To the OP: I would think Kink in games would be quite normal. People have to get it our of the system in some form or fashion. Even your favorite Disney animated shows have something sexual in it.
