I stopped putting out hummingbird feeders after the bears came back. They view bird feeders as restaurants and hummingbird feeders as an open bar.

No bears here, just crazy raccoons!
I don't have a hummingbird feeder, other than my azalea bushes, but I did put up a little
wooden bird feeder for the cardinals and all the other neighborhood birds. I love spring!

Here in my area, we have doves, quail, hawks and buzzards, and as of this year, 4 golden eagles.

dove and quail will not come to my yard as we have dogs.

Now, what, may I ask, kind of feeders would you like me to put out for birds of prey and carrion eaters?

I've been seeing the hummingbirds. My stepdad has been working on his birdhouses. He made a little western town with a bank, school, jail, restaurant, corral and more. It's pretty cute and he loves his birds.

Now I admit to having a list of people that I would not mind staking out for... nevermind, my Apache blood is showing.

The return of the Turkey Vultures is also a sure sign of spring here.
