Status: offline 		Didn't we do away with those for new posters? Seems like I blinked and they are all over the boards again.

Is there a sticky somewhere for 'why do I have an ice cream cone under my user name?' that I missed?

Status: offline 		MDA you are seeing a lot of vanilla cones all over the boards because there are a lot of newbies here among us now. The cones have never been taken away. The reason that you see them more is because most of the regulars who's post use to be all over the boards are gone...leaving room now to see all the newbies. Also and this is just a fact....newbies post to not get pulled or disappear because most have only posted just a few times.........thus all the cones.

My mistake. Seems I remember a thread re: site improvement ideas about not using the cones anymore for new folks, then they seemed to disappear for a while when new people had only their screen names.

I think they kept the cone image but changed the wording from 'vanilla' to 'new member'
