Saw this and had to put in my 2 coppers.
This question came up with my first sub over 25 years ago ( yes she is still with me) and after some thought I saw someone wearing a copper bracelet for arthritis.
So since I have various joint problems I tried it then then when she begged for a collar I removed the copper chain bracelet and put it on her wrist.
This will work for ankles and I used thin brass chain for her belly. I do not like to use precious metals because it gives the sub a feeling that they are
worth more than they might be. That pretty much leaves out gold and silver and steel works well but it rusts unless you can find stainless.
The good thing about copper is that it can be worn in the shower. It might leave a green stain on the wrist but there are enough people around wearing
copper bracelets that it is not unusual and the green stain is a 'slave mark' that is also a reminder.
Soak them in a bowl of vinagar to brighen up copper.
I found some solid hammered copper bracelets in various widths and thicknesses at a craft show for about $5 and the advantage of them was that while I could clamp them on
a slave girls wrist she did not have the strength to remove it. Although properly trained she would fight rather than have it removed by anyone other than her Lord.
With the advent of airport security it seems to me that a chain bracelet with a clasp is the best to pass through security.
You might consider modifying a medic alert bracelet.
I have seen gold and silver belly chains on women on the beach or when they have a bare midriff and that seems to be a fashion statement. If you go to a good hardware store or a
marine supply you might be able to find some stainless steel chain about the size of your small finger that would make a good belly chain for a male or female sub/slave.
In the end it is not the object or where it is worn, but the constant reminder and meaning. A 1/4" stainless steel belly chain that is hammered shut on a naked girl as she kneels
in a cold work shop or garage has more meaning than some pretty gold chain around her throat.

With a little imagination and a good hardware store you might be surprised what you can do.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Master purchased for me a gold necklace with a pendant which he had imprinted with his thoughts of me, to me.  To the world this is a necklace to Master and i this is my collar.  It is never removed, save surgery.  When i had surgery He removed it and replaced it once i was out of surgery.
Throughout the day i have a reminder of Master when i need His presence i can touch the pendant and i feel Him.
When we attend kink functions i wear the collar He chooses, however the chain remains.

i know this is going to sound very dumb, but a friend of mine in NY did it. Her slave boy was in the office thing, always had to wear a suit, he was a higher up. She had a pair of cufflinks with her mark on them made for him.

To the person who posted about copper instead of gold or silver.  I need to wear real gold or silver.  I have very senestive skin and whenever i try to wear anything other than real gold or silver i wind up with a horrible looking itchy rash where the jewerly was.  So it is not that i think i am worth more than i am it is just that i need the real thing.
