Status: offline 		now, im collared, and due to my outside life, its not practical for me to wear a collar 24/7, Mistress understands this, i was wondering what people used as an alternative to a collar, to represent the collar?

Status: offline 		thanks, MistressWolfen :-) im the happiest guy alive, epsecially after being played lol sounds like a good idea, i wear a collar when im with my Mistress, but due to the nature of my job, a collar isnt practical

Status: offline 		I am getting a necklace of His choosing to wear all the time and a collar when He wishes it.  You can get a chain of some sort, whether it be a long one that can go under clothes, or an anklet or braclet will do as well.  I think its really up to the two of you, maybe even a ring?  Congrats on the collar!!!!

Status: offline 		I wear a necklace that He bought for me, two of them really. One is a silver curved V slave style necklace, the other is made of large diameter gold chains. A person in the scene will get the general idea, but Mom, and my vanilla friends don't.

Second, Master doesn't have me wear a collar around me neck. He bought me a length of chain link and attatched the two ends with a lock that requires a key. I wear it around my ankle, and he keeps the key. It obviously never comes off.

There's also a dog tag attatched to it that says 'little one'.

I have a link necklace with a little heart and toggle closure that I wear whenever I can with the outfit that I have on.  But I also have a plain silver band that Master put on my right ring finger that has never come off.  For play, I have a thick black leather collar with rhinestones on it that we actually got at a pet store for much less than the one at the kink shop that was almost identical.

Status: offline 		Congrats on you collar.  I also was recently collared and i cannot wear my regular collar 24/7 so master is going to get me a gold chain i can wear 24/7.

Status: offline 		Master placed a titanium and gold medium-sized chain necklace (quasi-choker) on me that I wear 24/7.  One girlfriend said "That looks like of like a collar."  Most strangers say "Wow I love your necklace."

My first "collar" was a lovely anklet. I felt it served the same purpose and it was lovely piece of jewerly as well. Perhaps a silver necklace or bracelet might be a worthy substitute?

Status: offline 		I wear a simple necklace that has a heart with the bsdm symbols on a little stone as a collar. This enables me to wear it 24/7 because I choose not take it off. My Master bought it 2 years ago and I love it.

Status: offline 		I will wear a gold/white gold choker called an omega with a pendent that we are designing as my everyday collar. To most people it will just be beautiful and maybe unique. To a few that know the lifestyle it will be recognizable. To me it will be symbolic of my submission to my Master.

I do not have one Collar. I have occasion Collars. Meaning I wear different Collars, of Master's choosing, for different occasions. Even my Fancy Collar does not really look like a Collar. Actually I think it looks like a flat chandellier LOL it's magnificent.

All but one of my Collars (and that one is my Training Collar, which hangs proudly on Master's wall) can be worn anywhere any time. Mostly people say; " I like/love that choker". My Training Collar is the only one that is obvious.

Status: offline 		I was required to wear a belly chain.  No one ever saw it, but then, they didn't need to, did they?  It served its intended purpose, that of reminding me and my body that I was owned.

currently He has me wear an anklet. i was wearing a white-gold tiny chain with a heart on it for awhile (can't find the image), and now i am wearing this one: http://cuffme.com/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=252 . we also considered http://www.sblades.com/ID-G90.php . i love the anklet we chose and though i've had some issues with some of the chain loosening a bit it's holding together rather nicely :)

Status: offline 		My boy is in a similiar situation.  While he can wear his collar when he is with me, his situation outside wont allow for that. Right now, he ha a beaded necklace (to which I have the match) that he can wear, or at least carry when he cant wear it. He is also gettinga small dogtag with my name for him on it, which he wil be able to carry all the time.  If wearing jewelry is a problem, the dogtag on the keys has worked as a good reminder, that can be changed when situations change as well.  The symbolism is still there, even if they cant wear it as often as theyd like.

We had this same conversation last weekend, before She left for a trip overseas, and the thought of an ankle bracelet came up. Worn OUTSIDE my sock. i politely deferred that for now, as it might be hard to keep personal. i have a small collection of industrial link silver jewelry, and She told me to pick one to wear while She's away. So now i've got this beautiful heavy silver bracelet on my right wrist. A reminder of the chains of my own forging. i am required to wear it at all times, except showering. What i'd truly liove, if it comes to that, is a suitably engraved steel collar, like a Neosteel, for home, and the neckelace that matches that bracelet shortened to a choker. Know any good silversmiths?

julia, good idea. i may discuss that with Her, if She still wants the anklet for me.

Once again, i see no boys on this thread, other than the OP. No wonder the Dommes here are disappointed.
