A couple of weeks ago I started staying with my mother to take care of her. She asked me if I always hum and whistle. I never realized that I was doing it. So today I asked people I work with if I hum and whistle a lot.....they all said that I don't. So I guess this is just something I do since I've been with my mom. Strange.....

There was no option for "I've been told I hum but I don't know I'm doing it". I don't whistle, consciously or otherwise.

I talk to myself. It started as a way to think things out, for some reason verbalizing them makes it easier for me. But now, it's just another habit.

Ha. I do that too. Particularly when stressed. It's comforting.

LOL.....I talk to myself sometimes too.....it does help me organize my thoughts. I think I'm pretty good about make sure I don't do it when anyone else is around, but every once in awhile I slip and get a funny look from someone. The cool thing is that at my job I wear a telephone headset so I can still answer and talk on the phone while I'm away from my desk...but now I can talk to myself out loud and anyone who hears me just thinks I'm talking to someone on the phone. I love it!
