The quickest thing you can do to buy yourself some time until you decide what you feel comfortable doing, it to go to My Profile in the upper right-hand corner of the Forum page, which will take you here http://www.collarchat.com/editprofile.asp. Your Forum Profile is separate from your User Account Profile on the other side; however you can use the same primary photo/avatar for both. When you get to this upper middle section, labeled My Profile, your user name will automatically appear under "Login," assuming you are logged into Collarchat. Skip down to "E-mail" and make sure it is the same address as how you registered your CM user name. (4th blank field laterally) Then skip down to "From:" if you wish to disclose a location, just to give an idea where you are from, at your discretion. (6th blank field laterally) Go to where it displays "Signature" (13th blank field laterally), and within that box you may type your motto, up to 255 characters. This will become your Signature line every time you post. It will automatically appear on all your posts, even the ones you've already made. The coding here is the same as when you post, in case you want to change fonts, lettering style, or add your own signature color. There is a checkbox if you want your Signature to always appear within your post at the very end. Scroll down toward the bottom of the page and click "Apply" so you don't lose what you've typed. Or you can go ahead and save by clicking "OK." Then skip down to the last two areas in that section where it says "My avatar" and "Set up profile photo," and you will see the following options: o Upload my picture (will replace the existing one) o Click to choose avatars View My Avatar! [TAKES YOU TO AVATAR GALLERY] o Don't display avatar _ Use your avatar as Profile Photo o Upload my picture (will replace the existing one) o Enter URL: ____________________________ You can then decide whether to user your chosen CC forum avatar as your main profile pic on the CM side, or you can do it the other way around and make your main CM pic appear here on the CC forum side. My forum avatar didn't take right away on the CM profile side (time delay?), so I uploaded it separately over there myself. Under the My Preference bottom section, you can choose whether you want your draft posting style to be Inline or pop-up. Set your Subscription preferences for notifications. Set your other preferences, including Time Zone adjustment and/or Forum Language to the current server. Remember to click "OK" to save your Forum Profile. You can go to the Test forum to try out how it displays when you are done updating your Forum Profile, for a trial run on how your post will appear. [Edited to renumber]
