Hi! I'm a bisexual unowned sub semi-new to the scene and I'm hoping to get some insight. I know generally what Masters like for their subs, but what about Mistresses? How would you like me to dress? Act? What's your ideal sub look like and what would her personality be? Just curious to see if this is different than for Men ^^ -Kitten

Actually, I like a lot of personality types as long as they aren't negative, judgmental types. Just curious to see if this is different than for Men ^^ I look for the same things whether it's in a femsub or male sub. Or in a friend for that matter, or anyone I care to spend my time with. NBMG

I like women who are comfortable in their own skin. I don't really care if you live in boyfriend-jeans or if you prefer skirts and stilettos as long as you're confident in your own style. I will say that as much as I appreciate someone all dolled up for a night out, I like women who aren't afraid to get dirty, ride a rollercoaster, plaster a wall and paddle in the sea, so someone who liked to look salon-fresh at all times would probably bore me. As for acting - like a decent person. I've already said I like people who join in with life and don't just watch from the sidelines. I've never really liked the whole grovelling style of submission, nor do I like the meek, mouselike, don't-speak-til-spoken-to act. I want a vibrant personality who also happens to let me be the boss. My favourite 'type' has always been dark hair, pale skin, slightly boyish figure, but honestly the people who I find attractive in photos are rarely the same people I find attractive once I hear them talk.

I think that you'll find whether the dominant is male or female, they tend to want the same thing...namely a submissive partner. Absolutely everything else you asked about boils down to personal preferences and every Domme is going to like something different. I guess if you're wanting to be completely re-made into a Domme's "fantasy sub" then that's something you should communicate right off the bat because not everyone is looking for that level of micromanagment.

Completely agree with NBMG and Asanaambitions. However im a female chubby chaser so obesity in women doesn't bother me. When meeting my prospective subservients I ask them what their personal goals are and if they are for the most part satisfied with who they are and how they look. If they say "well I know I could stand to loose a few pounds" then that becomes a goal for them within my domination: loose some weight. Im a firm believer that as a Mistress we have to take on many roles as a D to have the best relationship and a successful D's dynamic. So we have to adjust to what property needs as well so that they can better serve us. I am friend, teacher, coach, luver (if I choose so), mother, etc - all rolled into one: Domme. The Black Onyx

PERSONALITY: This is a priority for me. Intelligence is an important quality in a person. As an educator I travel in circles with motivated, educated and knowledgeable people. Submissive to me does not mean stupid or unable to hold a conversation with me or with others. DRESS: We all dress one way to relax at home, another for fancy affairs and sexier for other events. Knowing what is appropriate to watch a ball game versus going to the theater is a plus. But I have no problem telling someone what is not appropriate for an event. ACT: In our vanilla lives we act accordingly. Over time you develop personal signals to make your needs and wants known. When we are alone or in a group of other Dommes you would be expected to act as a sub. LOOK:As stated before it would depend on the location and type of event. Also if we were in a sexual relationship. SAME AS WHAT MEN WANT: Different men want different things but as a Dom/Domme we have similar motivations so it's possible we might enjoy similar things. I'm not selfish, just stubborn and usually right. LadyDee
