Each to their own but I'd call you a tad over-dressed for an *everyday* predicament. Too much, too often takes the edge off it for me; it becomes more a like chore than a sense or source of fun after awhile.... And for a Dom, once D/s is a chore I'm no longer Master of myself - and we can't have that!
My idea of "everyday" is somewhat more mundane. She has her daily tasks to perform (as do I, actually) but hers are carried out in accordance with our established control dynamic of my still being in charge. But the average vanilla visiting probably wouldn't notice anything out of the ordinary other than my girl's collar or if I preferred her naked that particular day as she went about her business.... lol Seriously, no vanilla gets to see her like that, so there'd probably be a bit of a mad scramble as she retreated to the bedroom to get dressed while I answer the door....
What you've described is more of a semi-formal scene (to me) which I might do once a week or two. And if by "disciplinary repercussions" you mean some pain play, well that's different again. That's something I like to play with in its own right so if I wanna flog her etc, I'll just set it up and make like the Nike motto. Or a quiet night at home might be her spending a few hours securely bound with me supposedly watching a movie or something - though I rarely remember what happened on screen because of the almost hypnotic attraction of her predicament.
Everyday is very informal - aside from her general rules and guidelines we're just another couple.
