I'm assuming many of you have seen the same things,
It may say something like: paraphrased:

"This is a Certificate of Ownership of Slave <<name of slave>>
and this is the Certificate # <<<111-1111-1111111>

In my opinion if this is part of the game, and it gives a sense
to the slave that they are owned cool, but these things do not have
nor can have any legal bearing as it is illegal to own a slave or
to buy and sell a slave. But I am speaking of the U.S.

Maybe that is different in Germany which seems to have an open door to this stuff

But, know what actually goes on not just in the U.S. but around the world, i think it would be smart, to perhaps forego this 'fun' little certificate of proof or at least perhaps think about, consider, contemplate, not posting something like this in public domain.

It could be construed by someone investigating trafficking and cause problems not desired.

I simply would like discussion and please not,e I did not say that this should not be done, as here are perhaps those who are masters / mistresses who use this and see no problem with it. Just thought it would be an interesting discussion.

It's just a website that gives out numbers. I really doubt the FBI is planning to seize their records, track down everyone who ever signed up, and drag them into court.

You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

I am however quite curious as to why you believe it is your job to rescue every benighted soul on this site. Instead of asking if anyone has ever had any problems as a result of having registered there.

I wrote, curious about this and i am. i'm not making any mountain out of
any mole hill.

When I goodled this , and it has many related topics,
it was interesting to read perspectives on this topic.

I would by the way never diminish anything you
would ever have to say or write on collarme,
you can afford to if you think I'm doing something,
why say it, Would you when you are in say a public
place like a coffee shop say something that would not
be appreciated.

And, if you don't want to know right now is a difficult time
as my dad passed yesterday so i am a bit on the touchy side,
so sorry for my reaction to what you posted

I'm a sub, not a slave but I know some subs who have signed contracts, don't know if they're registered on any sites. I personally would never sign a contract or have a certificate saying I belong to Master. Not because I'd fear us being investigated but simply because if my word telling him I commit myself to him is not good enough for him then that would not be the relationship for me.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a quote that gave me some comfort when my dad passed away. "To live in the heart of those left behind is to live forever."

Stuff like this is just another toy or prop to make it seem more 'real' to some people. I put it down to the overwhelming legalese in our society, and things like this are a reflection of how humans can fetishize just about anything, including paperwork. I personally put it in the same column as slave contracts. T

They represent nothing except what the two parties wish them to be, are totally unenforcable, and serve no one except those who want them. There is something humbling and dehumanizing about reducing someone (or one's self) to a string of numbers, like a convict. For some folks, this is needed for them to fully experience the pleasure they're seeking out of the whole exchange.

I think your worries that it would be connected to trafficking are unfounded: The Slave Registry has been around for quite sometime and authorities are not likely to be confused between it and illegal activities.

I can't see anyone would be going to munches to rescue people wearing collars either.

They are both symbolic.

How am I to know what someone else will or will not appreciate? I am not a mind reader.
And I myself have learned more from being told that I'm wrong, than that I was right. Albeit sometimes not immediately.

Thomas Edison felt this way re the thousand plus things he tried that did not work to create an electric light bulb.

I offer my condolences on your loss.
